Sixers get Tobias Harris, Mike Scott, and Barjanovic without giving up any of their stars. The Clippers get Landry Shamet, Wilson Chandler, Mike Muscala, the Sixers’ 2020 first-round pick (lottery protected for three years, per ESPN’s Ramona Shelburne), the Heat’s 2021 first-round pick, and the Sixers’ 2021 and 2023 second-round picks to the Clippers.

The Sixers are going to end up top 3 in the East and are probably now the favorites. All they need is a couple of depth guys that they can get on the buyout market now.

Embidd, Simmons, Butler, Tobias Harris, and Redick as a starting five is formidable.

**** Bucks are never going to be able to compete for a title - don't know what the answer is but players just aren't excited about coming to Milwaukee.

The Bucks are so close too - they just need that one player

I don’t think they’re going to make any major moves. It would cost too much to get another top player. But the Maker deal just cleared $5M off the cap. Teletovic and his $10M come off the books, and so does Jason Smith and Jodie Meeks (another $8.8M). That’s enough cap space to add $10M to Middleton (to $23M) and $13M to Brogdon (to $14M) right there. Mix and match as you want, but that’s what was behind today’s trade of Maker.

Then they need to add to Bledsoe’s deal. If someone offers him $25M, there’s really nothing the Bucks can do. $20M, and maybe they can not re-sign Brook Lopez and use that $$$ to keep Bledsoe.

But with no big expiring deals or draft picks of value to offer, I have resigned to the idea that this is their team. Perhaps Snell’s deal (which has a player option for ‘21-22) can be moved to make room for a Beal offer if he declines the offer (which he won’t). But the cap should jump the year of AD’s FA to about $125 or what I heard on the Lowe Post Podcast, so maybe...

I’m not there with Philadelphia.  They are not a mentally tough team and I do wonder about team chemistry.

They gave up a lot for Tobias Harris and there is no guarantee he will resign after the season.

I don't care about next season. I care about THIS season. I want the Bucks to make the finals. I do love what Giannis said....All these teams are trying to catch up to us - or words to that effect. It's probably true but damn it I want the Bucks to challenge for a title.
