The MNF game vs. Oakland after his Dad's death.

The MNF game vs. the Vikes where Freeman makes the 'improbable bobble'

The MNF game vs. the Bears after Favre, with a severly sprained ankle, blows out the Bears at Soldier Field.

And of course, tonights game.

What other ones do you rank up there

This was one exciting game to watch.

Thank you TIVO!

I'd put this one right after the Raiders game.

I'd actually rank a game against Jacksonville a few years ago as 3rd. I think the Packers were down 2 touchdowns and came back to win.

I'll never forget the absolute laser beam touchdown Favre threw to Billy Schroeder down the right sideline.

Damn. I was there/here in person and I forgot completely about it. I'm an ass.

Vikes game/Freeman catch. Too surreal to have any competition.

It was so surreal--they could conceivably have lost that game a few times and just hung in there. Tonights game was just similar to that, minus the spectacular catch.
My boy said "get it all right here" as soon as he wound up lookin' deep. And when I saw Jennings had a step on Bly, I knew it was over.

I didn't even see Jennings run into the EZ; I was in the kitchen screamin'! Big Grin

What a game!

The sprained ankle game was against the Bears, at home and a 35-28 win or something like that, not on MNF either. Favre and Erik Kramer both had big games as I recall. Maybe you have it confused with the Halloween game where there was that monsoon and they honored Butkus and Sayers at halftime?

You can thank me. I was at work and didn't record it. The last 3 monday nighters they lost are ones I recorded. BTW, anyone got a copy?

This one will be on the NFLN for sure. You can record it then and there.

Yes, yes.

In fact, wasnt GB wearing the throwback uni's that night too?

That game with the Ravens in '05 was pretty sweet.

Yeah, but not on Monday night.

I'd say the Halloween monsoon game in '94.

I loved that game!! Favre scampering through the muck in the throwbacks. The fact that the Pack dismantled the Bears made it so, so much sweeter.

Yup, but I have seen better MNF games by this team. This was an ugly game.

The game he threw the 99 yarder?
The game he rushed for like 80 yards? That's right, the monsoon game.
Meh... WAY too hard to call...

Great references here..

I still love the monsoon mudbowl at Chi for a great monday night win!!

Sure, Edgar had alot to do with it, but it's classic!!!

As far as flat out wins...

I'd have to rank tonight's as 2nd to the Oakland win...

I keep trying to type a reason, but I really can't find a solid one that anyone would accept. Fact is they are both more amazing than any of us forum poster can really conceive....

We can all feel fortunate that we have been so lucky to enjoy such a talent, and solid man, who has battled through so much, to watch for so many sundays and mondays.

Tonight was fugging amazing. How really can you rate any other over something else??

You just have to say thanks and be glad you can pass the experience on to a family member or a friend some day! Smiler
i don't see how this ending could be better than that freeman catch game. that catch was absolutely absurd.

not to mention that sherman had called timeout just before the vikings were about to kick the winning field goal. during the timeout it started raining really hard and causing the vikings to bobble the snap and miss the game winner.

Show of skill vs. luck. Team is also better this year, adding more interest to each game.

That Freeman catch was kind of a fluke whereas this night ended with a thing of beauty!
Man, there are some great games being recalled here!

Vs. Oakland is my favorite-the WR's were making circus catches all night long! I think the way the team played that night, they could've beaten Chuck Norris!

Vs. Chicago may be my next favorite. Paup had a BIG game that night too! And to overcome those elements!

Vs. Jacksonville will be my next pick. What a comeback! Now that was an exciting win!

Vs. Minnesota ranks next. That was a heads-up play by Free!

And tonight will be the last pick. What a sweet victory!
Anyone remember GB's last Monday nighter in Denver? Lynn Dickey and the boys spot the Donkeys 14 immediate points in the snow, and almost come back and win...I kept thinking of that game and that crap era today for some reason.

Bebee with 212 yards receiving including the TD where the 9ers forgot to touch him down. AWESOME!

They had Tom Jackson crowing about that night in the pregame...although he did concede that Lofton owned the Denver defense once they were spotted 14.

yes. ha

I remember Berman spouting off on his "2-minute" show the following Friday...he was saying that the Niners were the better team because, Beebe was really touched down and therefore the Packers would not have won the game.

I called ESPN and left a message for him...I called him a 49er rube....but, doubt if he got it however.

Good thing S.F. and Buffalo never met in the Super Bowl...that buffoonish front-runner would still have the boner from that one.

Was that the game that Ivory (I think) returned the opening kick 95+ yards for a would-be touchdown, only to fumble at the one yard line out of the back of the end zone for a turnover?

I remember at least one botched hand off to Ivery that was scooped up and returned for a TD, but I don't remember a KO return like that. As I said, it was the Era de Crappola, so a lot of those years blur together at this point.
