Good reading. Tough job. Find the talent and never get credit. Being a great scout has to be somewhat dependent on continuity, right? You don't want to spend a year looking for guy's that fit only to find out Chip Kelley is the new head coach.
Alonzo Highsmith has received rave reviews from many other scouts. Fortunately he's working for the packers
Gotta think TT knows his scouts considering he's a hell of a scout himself.

Good scouts don't look just for guys who fit a certain system. They look at everybody, figure out who can play at the NFL level then categorize players who fit different systems.
A smart GM knows that his coach can change and that systems can change and he;d better have scouting done to handle those changes otherwise the GM is going to be toast too.
