That's awesome! I remember back in July/August, when we were up for training camp, they were still building this and we couldn't figure out what it was. That's great they are providing this for the players, I think it's the kind of thing that will help attract players and coaches to GB in the future. It's also nice to see that the revenue isn't being used to line the pockets of some greedy owner, it's being used to help keep GB the top organization in the NFL.

Grave Digger- agree.

If you took this organization, it's history, facilities, and their fans and say we were located in Cali or Florida? We'd have UFA's begging to play for GB. The biggest drawbacks are weather and the size of the city.

Aside from that, there are probably no better facilities in the league.

That new mini-field/rehab area where players can rehab on an indoor field that's separate from the indoor practice field? Ridiculous. I'd guess we're probably the ones in the NFL that has anything like that.

Capers and defensive end Mike Daniels both used the word convenient regarding benefits of the addition.

"Our stuff is really close together," said Shawn Slocum, the coordinator of special teams. "It's not as spread out, which makes an advantage for us.

"

Tom Clements, the offensive coordinator, has coached for four other NFL teams and said the facilities in Green Bay were the best.

"This is my eighth different organization, and I started two of 'em from scratch," said Capers, referring to his years as the first coach in Carolina and Houston. "I think our facilities are as good as there are in the league.

"The thing I like about here is it's all geared toward football."

Daniels said he keeps hearing complaints from friends playing for other teams about how poor their experiences have been.

All Daniels tells them is, "I love where I'm at."

It's OK IC. Maybe your budget will include nice toys like this for you someday:

Pakrz-of course, teams like Dallas you're right I'm sure have ones that are very nice as well. But from reading this link and hearing some of the chatter on the opening from local media here, it's the "everything under one stop" that apparently separates GB from most (but Im sure not all) teams. Players can rehab, train, practice, etc without having to go all different places.

Look how many teams still hold training camps in entirely different cities...
