…because it’s (the last?) Thursday night game

…because while I was humiliated when my Monday thread was banned like it’s freaking Twitter here, I have no pride.

…because speaking of no pride, DJ was seen sporting an Argentinian goalie glove on his schlong.

…because I’m still not mentioning Fedya.

Anyone watching Devin Lloyd.  He's not a starter apparently but must play a lot of defensive snaps.  Just a few less tackles than Quay for the season.  Will be interested to compare these two over their careers.

U-G-L-Y, Jets don't need no alibi,
They ugly.

Seriously, too bad for the Jets. They had a little something going this year, and at least a shot at a WC. But their QB injury has doomed them.
It wasn't like they were going to go too far in the playoffs had they made it, anyway.

Reminder: Jets is a four-letter word by nature, but it took effort to make the Jaguars one.

Why does that matter? It doesn't, but this game is not entertaining enough for me to avoid non  sequiturs.

I have no idea if he ever could have been any good much less be worth a first round pick. BUT, it was obvious he was not ready to be number one starter.

How many high pick QBs with potential have been ruined by impatient owners and team front offices.

Love, if he was anointed right after the draft would be gone by now.  Now after sitting , learning and maturing he has a shot at a pretty good contract and a real shot at leading a team.

Crazy how bad Wilson has been.  Can't remember a #2 pick that was this bad without injury issues or off field issues.  I mean has there been any bright spots with Wilson yet?

Trubisky was pretty bad.  Leaf was horrible (2 TDs/15 INT rookie year). Rams drafted to Tackles at #2 in recent years who were horrible - Greg Robinson (2014) and Jason Smith (2009).

Get Wilson his two starting 1st Round Tackles back and maybe he gets better.  That O-line was putrid last night.

Good call on those two OTs.  Both were terrible and had nothing to do with injuries or off the field issues.  Crazy to miss that bad on o-line.  Usually that's a pretty safe position to pick at the top of the draft.  Just flat out missed evaluating their talent.
