You would be wrong. It's a desperation move.

But carry on, armchair GM's. Threads like this always make things interesting on these forms.
No it doesn't.
trade Rodgers for Jay Cutler.
This
"Not to mention the guy is injured ALL the time."
"He isn't that great, he sucked last year, he's sucked this year, he's consistently injured"
Nicks averages 14 games a year in his career and has played every game this year.
Thanks for the love Henry..it's your board..just trying to hang with you pros
Ammo - Bostick, Boykin or White? Not sure who I would choose. Could one of them be cut to make room for a SB winning WR with 2 1,000 yard plus seasons in his first 4 seasons?
Henry,
How am I supposed to reply to this spiderman guy? I missed the meeting about how we are to react.

In other words you are going to release all 3 when the PUP guys become eligible to be activated.
He's JPeterman damn it!

And that's why you will get no cookies in the next meeting.
It has to make you wonder why the Giants would be so quick to dump the guy but if you look at his numbers he's sort of been on the decline. When Victor Cruz broke onto the scene he basically became Manning's #1 target and Ruben Randle's stats aren't that far off from where Nicks is at.
The part that concerns me about the guy is that against good defenses he either can't seem to get open or he's not making enough plays. He basically got shut out against Carolina and KC. Sure, he put up big numbers against Philly but what WR doesn't?
