Well, The Bears Still Suck midway through the first quarter. I’m torn (a little) between them losing versus doing enough the remainder of the season to not get Nagy fired. But it would be amazing for the pick they traded away to be a Top 5.

……just tune it out.

Happy Turkey Day everyone!  Don’t really care who wins this game, I think Nagy’s gone unfortunately after the season anyway.  But hey, it’s the Bears.  When’s the last time they made a good decision on anything?  Not really in fear of who they pick as their next coach.

Pack has had a LOT of success for a long time.

Playing 4 games a year against the Detroit and Chicago football franchises has contributed in no small part to that success.

I guess the Bears have some hope for the future with Fields and a new GM and coach coming in (but no 1st round pick in 2022).

The Lions are stuck with Goff (or at least his contract) for at least 1 more year. And Dan Campbell is the head coach.

Hard to believe the Lions, and to a lesser extent, the Bears can consistently be so bad but here we are once again.

What a terrible display of professional football.

Negative Nelly! Cut it out this minute or I’ll fight you. Nagy needs a lifetime contract.

It is hard to figure why some teams just can’t get it right.  Lions, Jets, Jax are and have been a mess.  They rarely move up to mediocrity and if they do it is for a year or 2.  Ownership, front office, head coach, staff, qb and roster are all lacking at times.  It’s tough to fix everything.

It takes lightning in a bottle sometimes.  We were destined to continue our 20+ years of of misery until Harlan became p resident and had the brains, vision and passion to turn things around.  Let’s hope Murphy doesn’t fuck it all up before he leaves.  He’s certainly giving it his best.

The rest of America does not get to see as much of the Lions and Bears as the lucky folks in the Midwest.

Campbell & Nagy trying to out-clown themselves with panic TOs is just NFC North delicousness on display for the entire NFL to see.

To be fair, most kids have heard far worse language from their parents.

Or other kids.  That’s where I learned most of that kind of stuff and ended up having a potty mouth.  My parents were really strict, though, and in those days you didn’t use that kind of language around adults.  To this day, I feel awkward cussing in front of anyone but friends.  And you guys. 😂

I don’t feel bad saying shit in front of anyone.   Except my elders.  Or in church.

The outrage toward swearing is pretty funny considering how much we tolerate racism and hate and other less than desirable behaviors and antics.

And the Loins still suck ass!

I learned a lot of vocabulary from the catholic school kids that our public school bus dropped off every morning.  I was catholic but those kids were always the nastiest.

That was one wacky ending to the Raiders/Cowboys game.

Weird game period.
Taking it all at face value --lots of offense and scoring, plenty of big plays, a dramatic comeback by the Cowboys to tie the game and overtime -- it has the 'look' of the kind of game everyone would want to see.
Yet I had the feeling the reality was both teams weren't that good, as opposed to it being 2 big heavyweights slugging it out.

Thank you raiders.

Also Hoculi calling more phantom false starts on centers.

Even Romo got on the bad officiating bandwagon after they called a false start on a center for lifting his head just before he snapped the ball. The officiating has been bad, for a while, now, and then Hoculi Jr. inserts himself into the game.  Hoping we don't see his crew anywhere near a Packers' game, the rest of the season.
