If they can tag him and then get any kind of draft pick out of Miami (or someone else in the AFC), I'll be thrilled. However, what happened with Flynn last offseason was not encouraging, no matter how you slice it. The NFL frowns upon using the franchise tag that way, and the Packers probably don't want to take any risk in that arena. They did do it with Corey Williams, but the Flynn thing could have been as a result of a warning they received after that one.

It's fair to criticize Rodgers. He only went 28 for 40 for 365 yards and 4 TDs. And he only led the offense to a measly 34 points.

No kidding. It was a pathetic performance. His QB rating barely cracked 130. I don't know how he can face his teammates, knowing that if he'd thrown for just one more touchdown, they'd have won.

I've got an idea. Tag Jennings, and trade his drunken sister to New England for Brady's wife. Major win all around.

For the Packers sake this year, Jennings needs to publicly tell her to STFU.

For the Packers sake? If the rambling tweets of Greg Jennings sister is going to effect the Packers then we have bigger problems than missed tackles and blown coverages. We going to ask Skip Bayless to stop before he offends someone too? Of course that accounted for all the yardage AP gained the 2 games.

"Crazy"??

Rhymes with that guy that hosted Candid Camera. And Calan ain't a word.

In retrospect, Greg is probably her meal ticket, so I can understand why she'd be upset with Rodgers not feeding the ball to him like Stafford does to Calvin Johnson.

Classy dude. I really hope there's a way to make the numbers work where he can stay a Packer. I realize the chances of it are very slim, but I hold out hope.

"I’m not saying it’s wrong."
Roll Eyes

well Greg, it is very wrong and you should say so. I think its apparent this guy is becoming frustrated with the situation behind closed doors.

I dont think all that hostility from his sister came directly from her.

Packers' Finley keeps focus on field, not fans
jsonline.com

The social media boards lit up after Finley's apparent four drops - after further review, the coaches gave him two - in the Packers' first loss of the season, a 19-14 decision against the Chiefs. Finley caught three passes for 83 yards, but if you were following Twitter you would have thought he cost the team the game all by himself.

Finley is such a lightning rod among Packers followers that even Rodgers' brother, Luke, chipped in his own two cents on Twitter during the game, urging the quarterback to stop throwing to the tight end.

Rodgers didn't have any comment on his brother's tweets
, but the record shows he has not avoided Finley even when the tight end is in the midst of one of his drop epidemics.

So this is what sports media has come to. Rodgers has 365 yards, 4 td's, a 131.8 rating, and the media is so desperate for some sort of controversy, they look to some drunken bimbo's gametime rants?

Seriously? That's just pathetic.

The real problem are the panfish that rise to the bait every time. Its what keeps shows like Jerry Springer going.

And when you cut through the balloon spit and b.s. that's the real issue. Not what Jennings sister tweeted. Its what Jennings sister tweeted AND the fact he's a free agent. And through the rationalizations about the Packers WR depth, Rodgers making them all look good, Cobb and Jennings injuries/age a lot of people whining about this are scared crapless he'll be burning someone like Hayward or Shields in a Viking or Lions uniform in the future. He's still Green Bays best WR when healthy.
