Kids today don't understand. There wasn't a bigger waste of money that getting a Mike Tyson pay per view. I'm suspicious the fix is in for this exhibition, but young Mike Tyson was legitimately the scariest human on the planet.

Much like bat speed is what determines HR power, punch speed determines how hard you hit. That is what made Iron Mike so devastatingβ¦his punch speed is unmatchedβ¦or was in his prime.
Even at 57, he throws punches faster than Logan Paul. This will not end well for the young man unless he runs away from Mike.
I am thinking LP may come up with an injury before this goes down.
The first Tyson fight I was on a Saturday afternoon on ABC Wide World of Sports. I hurried to finish some farm chores so I could watch it for an hour or so. The fight vs. Marvis Frazier lasted 31 seconds.

Tyson/Spinks - 91 seconds.
I still remember that Spinks fight. I was stationed in England at the time so I think the time difference was something like 6 hours so the fight started I think after midnight. I had a bunch of friends over to watch it and I went to bring beers in for everyone and BAM it was over. I never saw a second of it and that wasn't unusual for a Tyson fight.
There was something very primal about Tyson. By almost all accounts, he was a thug, but you couldn't take your eyes off him.
And the fear he instilled in what were otherwise some of the otherwise toughest men in the world was palpable. Michael Spinks was an undefeated heavyweight champion and admitted several years after the fight that he was terrified to fight Tyson. When I watched that fight and saw Spinks go down in 90 seconds and start shaking like he had an epileptic seizure, I thought Tyson had killed him in the ring. Spinks never fought again.
My dad was a massive boxing fanβ¦watched them all religiouslyβ¦Ali, Foreman, Spinks, Hagler, Hearns, Duran, Leonard just off the top of my head. He was a boxer in his youthβ¦Golden Gloves in Chicago at 17. Boxed in the Air Force. He knew the sport.
It was his opinion Tyson was the most devastating puncher in the history of the sport.
