The two best true ILB prospects in the draft were Mosley and Borland. The drop off from Mosley to Borland was substantial. Most had Skov after Borland and we know how that turned out.

I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss the UDFA's as simply UDFA's. There is some talent on that list. It's not crazy to say it's the equivelent of Ted having 6-7 7th round picks. This was a deep draft and some good players were left outside looking in. Ted did his homework pre-draft and had a good idea who he wanted in camp. More than half the UDFA's Ted landed were talking with multiple teams.

Don't be surprised is more than a few of them make the PS or even the 53.

Yet Tanner was not on the list of 12 UDFA signees the Packers made official yesterday. Speculation in the JSO this morning that maybe he failed his physical?

If true thats too bad as I was intrigued with his potential. Also that would be two years in a row TT wanted an UDFA Safety who failed his physical.

Just read the bores signed their first round pick as well. They aint waisting any time.

I wonder if they plan to play Fuller at Safety or as a Nickle back until Tillman leaves. I suppose he could play CB if he beats out Tillman and or their other starter at CB.

Impressive draft and UDFA's, I'd say.  But I'm surprised that the only ILB's we have (if I'm not mistaken) were UDFA's Joe Thomas and Nate Dreiling.   I'd love more info on these 2 for any of you familiar with them.   Do you think they are better than the guys we have?

Also, are there others currently shown as OLB's that might be moved to ILB?

Edumacate me!

McGinn did a nice write up on all 15 UDFA's here

Doughty and Thomas should push Barrington and Lattimore. Nate Palmer and Malumba  have an all out war coming. Packers should come out of this with a solid OLB rotation by week 1.

Thomas might be a FCS gem. Finished 4th for the Buck Buchannan award, given to the nation's top FCS player. Named FCS 2nd Team All-American. Was the MEAC defensive player of the year last season.

so..what you're saying is that if we take all of our draftees....we then have AVERAGE arms?
