Sorry my question didn't show. I was having an argument with my buddy, I thought the player blocking for Jim Taylor was Kramer but he said no way. Does anyone out there know the mystery blocker?
Thanks
Looks like the second # on the jersey is a 4?
64 Jerry Kramer
Thank you DH13 that's exactly what I thought....
Maybe its the center? I am ashamed I can't come up with the name. Ringo?
The Center from the packers was Ken Bowman, imo doesn't get anywhere close to the credit he deserves...Packers Legend
Bowman was #57. It's got to be either Fuzzy, Jerry, Skoronski, or Gillingham. To me it looks like the 6 is the second number and it looks like they're running left, which would make me think it was #76 Skoronski.
Yikes, so tough to tell the number from the photo...
Second # is not a 6. Bottom right hand corner is square, not chamfered. That makes it a 4. Slight chance it's Bowman's 57 if the number is that stretched.
If memory serves---this was the 1965 title game?
Was Bowman even on the team yet?

It is the 65 title game. Jim Brown's last game also.
Bowman was not on the team yet IIRC.
Looks like Kramer to me.
Why donât we just ask him.
Jerry?

Actually, Bowman was the starting center on that team: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/...ackers_season#Roster
I see a 6, also looks like a 6 on the helmet, that makes it Skoronski. On the ground behind Taylor is 25, or Tom Moore. Don't see any number on the guy blocking behind Taylor, but since he has a towel I would think that is a center, or Bowman.
Thanks, Steve! I get more forgetful with each passing day. Hate relying on the innerwebs for everything but there we are.
Jerry?
I thought we were talking about the guy to his right, almost on the ground. The guy to his left is clearly _6. But he's so far out it could be Dowler.

Brilliant answer, the towel gave it away, it must be Bowman. Glad to have found out, bummed that my buddy will be drinking for free this weekend (assuming I tell him).
Thanks ammo
Ringo was center before Bowman was. I think the guy blocking behind Taylor is Jerry Kramer..
