I was very disappointed House didn't see the field more than he did in 2011. He has the physical talent to be a starter, reminds me a little of Al Harris in terms of physical make up (tall, very lanky, cut), but his game in college was more akin to Rashean Mathis or Chris Gamble. I like his potential a lot and I'm glad he realized what it took to be in the NFL. I'm sure going from being a star at New Mexico to barely seeing the field in GB humbled him a lot. I'm glad he's not powting or being a baby, but rather changing his approach and working to prove himself. Shields could use some of that and hopefully House pushes him so we can see how Shields responds...if he acts like a baby and gives up then he's not worth the time or the money, but if he gets a chip on his shoulder then we could see some great football from him.
Agree on pass protection being job #1 for any RB on the roster. Keep AR12 standing upright and the Pack will score points. Training camp should include plenty of DJ Smith/AJ Hawk/Bishop blitzes up the middle that require a RB to step it up. Recognition of when the RB needs to stay for pass protection vs. going out for a pass pattern will also be key.
