Significant step forward for the U-20's...seems like Ramos is doing a good job developing tallant.
Ironically, Klinsmann's kid Jonathan is GK1...

Good stuff and portends well for the future!
USWNT $hit the bed in the SheBelieves cup. Lost to France AND England...Jill Ellis better stop worrying about wage equality, and more about where she's going to get a new center mid and center half.
WHOA, the USWNT lost a game???? That like never happens, but TWICE???
They were lucky to beat Germany as well. Coulda gone 0-fer
U-20's end up in WC group with Senegal, Ecuador and Saudi Arabia.
Very winnable group.
USMNT U20's quietly making noise at the WC.
Made it out of a deceptively tough group as the top seed ahead of Senegal, Saudi and Ecuador. Then proceeded to destroy New Zealand 6-0 in the knockout stage opener.
Next up, vs Venezuela in the quarters. This is a very good Venezuela squad who beat the piss out of Germany and Vanuatu, and rested a lot of guys vs Mexico (a 1-0 loss) because they had the group won already.
If the US gets past Venezuela, they meet the winner of Portugal vs Uruguay.
Tab Ramos has quietly been assembling a solid U20 squad with guys like Danny Acosta, Cameron Carter-Vickers (Spurs), Luca De La Torre (Fulham) and Gedion Zelalem (Scottish Rangers) developing nicely.
Of course the cynics will say the best U20 guys for the power countries are already on the senior squad, however, they are still loaded.
Christian Pulisic is still only 18, and I didn't see him there.
His game is 25.
Any live coverage anywhere?
Any FoxSports at the Holiday Inn in Valdosta?
If you want to get up at 2AM and have FS2...

Close...I was at Holiday Inn Daytona Beach...I could see the Speedway from my window.
US dream ends 2-1 in extra time. Was a good run.
Btw, Pulisic is already the best American player I have ever seen. Sweet goal. This guy is no Freddie Adu. He reads the game like a vet and his acceleration and close control are world class.
