USA tried a Hell of a lot harder than Ecuador did.
2nd half much better...not so coincidentally about the time they put Wood, Nagbe and Pulisic in.
That Nagbe goal was filthy...driving it into the ground and getting the little hop on it.
I still say Copa America is going to be brutal. Pulisic is gonna be a beast once he adds about 25lbs of muscle. But the Bundesliga has toughened him.
Ditto Yedlin...he is a completely different player after one season in the PL.
And yet idiots like Dempsey want to play in MLS.
A) Dempsey is from Texas.
B) There really doesn't have to be another reason.
Cut Alaska in two and make Texas the third-biggest state.
This is what we should do vs inferior competition...maybe this team has some life in them yet.
Nagbe and Pulisic need to get in at some point though.
Not to make too much of the win, Bolivia is garbage, however, are they any less garbage than Panama, Jamaica or Costa Rica? Actually CR is fairly decent all things considered, however, we shouldn't lose to them.
Maybe Klinnsman has finally figured things out...a draw vs. Colombia would be epic...but wins over Costa Rica and Paraguay are a must.
