Michael Vick, after breaking his non throwing hand in a loss to the New York Giants, complained about the refs in the post game presser.

(Vick) "At some point, something catastrophic is going to happen. You know, I broke my hand...

If you look at the replays, I'm on the ground every time"

(reporter) "Do you feel you're not getting the calls other quarterbacks are getting?"

(Vick) "Absolutely. I'm on the ground constantly, all of the time. Every time I throw the ball I'm on the ground. I get hit in the head...I don't know why I don't get the 15 yard flags that everybody else do..."

Instead of complaining about the refs, maybe have a talk with your offensive line??

Dream team.
Dare I say...karma?

Rodgers took shots to the head multiple times in 2009 - notably in the Packers Cards playoff game... I don't think AR ever put on a show like Vick did today.

Where are the Iggles (the paper super-bowl champs) right now? 1-2

Agreed, Rongrz. I can't imagine the league would want to shove a POS dog killer who's also obviously a dumdum down the throats of the paying public.
They still market him as "electrifying" and all of that BS, and they now seem pretty keen on this whole reformation/redemption storyline. I'm sure the league would be happy to see the "Dream Team" win it all since the dog killer stuff would just boost the ratings of a Super Bowl.
ha

Trent Dilrod just ripped Vick on the ESPN NFL Live Show tonight.

He basically said what we all were thinking....Vick gets the same calls as everyone else.

Dilrod said he broke down the tape and Vick has no business comnplaingin...all were legit hits....

Dilrod also said QB's are hit all the time...and to stop whining because there are so many rules to protect the QB that if it was a late hit or illegal hit the ref would throw the flag.

Dilrod hinted that today's QB's have it made (by today I assumed he met the QB's of the past few years when the new rules of hitting the QB were tightened)

Six years, $100 million (with $40 million guaranteed) for an overrated, injury-prone QB? Yep, Philly is the best place for this implosion to occur.

It's okay for now... but just wait until they trade him to the Vikings!

Good one.

Don't need a defense to stop him if he keeps shooting himself in the foot. He will be done by mid season at this rate.
NFL Live addressed this briefly and stated that only 6 teams have had more flags thrown for roughing the passer than Philly since the beginning of the 2010 season.

I found it interesting that Vick said he talked to the refs during their pre-season meeting about roughing the passer calls. Just what did he say? "Watch me! Watch me! Make sure you've got my back!" ????
Jeff Tripplette was certainly concerned with Vick's well-being; helping him up from the ground (I've never seen a referee do that before) more than once, and generally keeping a close eye on him.
I'm no lover of Tony Romo, but he displayed ten times more guts than Vick did against the Skins. And I didn't notice any late hits called or refs helping TR to his feet. Would like to hear what all these Michael Vick apologists have to say about that.
