Bingo.

If that guy gets on that team, their fortunes change immediately and drastically. Absolutely wanted the Vikes to win today for that reason alone.
He's as good a QB prospect that has come around in awhile. The days of the Vikings being a laughingstock are over if Luck enters that organization. I'm starting to get a little nervous that they've got an excellent shot in that sweepstakes right now.

Time to change your name to fightfear or fightstress.

Borrowing stress is never a good idea. You want some of mine instead?

LOL, yes I'm a bit of a worrywart but I am enjoying the Packer journey nevertheless.

Detroit was awful today, but boy, they seem like they have a horseshoe up their butts and waited for Romo to hand them the game.

It would be pretty sweet for the Vikings to finish with the SECOND worst record in the NFL. That would be the ultimate in suckiness for them. I really don't want Andrew Luck on that team though, I think he'd help them ALOT and maybe give a hopeless organization a ray of hope.
Detoilet is getting better, no question. Still, let me know when they win something that matters. They deserve credit for today, but they were still dealing with one of the more notorious choke artist QB's in the NFL today who literally gave them 14 points. The only good win I'd give them so far is at Tampa on opening day. We'll see about them soon enough.

As far as the Queens go, just enjoy their suck. They have earned it, their deals with the devil have led them to more than deserve it and no matter where they draft next year, they're going to get a highly rated player. That doesn't mean he'll be a great one anymore than he'll be a bust.

Miami, STL, and Indy haven't won a game yet either, and KC is still pretty bad even though they beat MN. I wouldn't bet the farm that the Vikings finish with the worst record in the league.

I also think it's interesting that we think Andrew Luck is destined to be a great QB when he hasn't even been drafted yet.

True... and heck, the guy could blow out his knee in his first game in the NFL. It happens sometimes. I think he's a great prospect though.
NFL scouts across the league have said Andrew Luck is the total package. On & Off the field. He's the best QB prospect since Peyton Manning & might be better coming out of college than Peyton was.

Miami, Minnesota, Indy would certainly take him. St. Louis (won't take him I don't think).

I still think Denver will end up getting the first pick.
I'm not really impressed with the Lions so far. I have yet to see anything from Stafford that makes you think he's a top 10 QB. Of his 11 TD's, 8 are to Johnson. And these aren't great passes; they're just jump balls that Megatron wins. You put any QB in there and they're playing as well as Stafford is right now. Put two guys on Johnson every play, especially in the end zone, and Stafford struggles (like in the first half).

As for the Vikings, will they draft Luck after taking Ponder in the first round last year? They should, but the Vikings have a knack for making bad decisions, especially when it comes to the quarterback position.
They are losers west of the Mississippi. Biggest mistake they ever made was to sign TOG last season. "What's his name" would still be coaching and they would have a couple wins at least this season.

As it is, they are going to be in a hole for quite awhile...quite a long while.

Where is my box of Kleenex? I may start laughing so hard, I will be crying.

TOG...what a jerk.

You guys still haven't figured it out. When everyone thought that TOG was sticking it to TT he was really sticking it to the Vikes by playing for them for 2 yeats. Thanks TOG.
The Suck for Luck race will continue all season. But I recall reading this morning that Luck still has a year of college eligibility remaining after this year, so he may not declare for the draft. If true, he may not like who's at the top of the draft to take him, conceivably he could just buy another year of disaster injury insurance and play college ball another year.
You know, its kind of ironic.

I never liked Eli Manning because he was a douche and just said he would never play for the Chargers.

After reading up, it turns out that (which I never realized back then) that horseface, errr, John Elway did the same thing.

Now Eli's brother's team is screwed and he may/maynot come back. If Indy wins the "Suck for Luck" race, I hope Luck does the same thing.

As far as the Vikings, even if they 'won', they would find a way to screw it up.

I like that. Big Grin

Agree. Bradford hasn't yet done anything on the field to preclude the Rams from taking Luck. It's just that he's got that monster contract as an obstacle. 6 years, $78 million, $50 mil guaranteed.
