I never understood all the talk of this guy as a HC for the Packers.

I am not saying Flip should be the guy but when I see posts like this, I always think back when TT originally hired M3. M3 was more out of left field then than Flip WOULD be today…

And I am not saying he should not. And I never thought MM was a totally left field candidate. Just the opposite. But I was hoping at the time that we would choose Payton. Yet, MM had been in GB before that and he was also a WC system coach who knew the system the team wanted to run with the people we had at the time.

I doubt being fired by Zimmer will hurt his chances at another HC interview. Yet, I suspect that Flip would fit best somewhere else.

The poster "Snicker" got DeFlip correct: "So, the Eagles let this guy walk after their OC accepted the Colts HC job, and instead promoted their WR coach to OC. What a ringing endorsement..." Whoever Snicker is might want to buy a lottery ticket!

They're simply trying the Baltimore Ravens approach. Fire your OC mid-season to win the Super Bowl.

Also, it's clear their problems lay with the OC:

Record In Primetime Games: 5-13

Record vs Winning Teams: 4-24

Record vs Winning Teams This Year: 0-5

Career Road Record: 12-23-2

MNF Record: 0-7

$84 million guaranteed

Oh sorry, that's Cousins.

But....but.....but...... MM was a Super Bowl winning coach who had been there 13 years.  Defillipo was only an OC who had been there 9 months.  Big difference in Old One Eye's eye.

But I thought Zimmer was "outraged" when the Packers fired MM before the end of the season?

That was the collective coaching staffs of the NFL according to whatever flapgum half wits in the sperts media.

Zim Zam wouldn't have been so upset if he hadn't found that left over stripper glitter from the Eagles  Super Bowl celebration in Defillipo's desk.

Probably wore his SuperBowl ring to the office.

Now this is funny.

For Sale

“For Sale: Lightly used $1,000,000,000 stadium. Occupant has been a team that only has success in breaking the hearts of the fans. Long history of collecting talent with no ideas on how to use them.”

“Included: $84 million QB who can't win against teams with winning records, and is 0-7 on MNF. A league record!”

This is funnier.

Hey Corri-kins, your dad makes millions of dollars to work in sports while proving he's a mediocre HC at best.  You might want to think about where you are geographically before flapping your daddy hole about working hard.  Now if you wanted to talk about the mental acuity of those rooting for a perpetual failure, then you have a point.

that's hilarious!  "leave my daddy alone, he's working hard and doing the best he can".   sorry sweety, .500 ball is not considered success in the NFL.  maybe daddy should get a different job if princess is offended by him being criticized.

and having some of this wouldn't help, princess:

And if he did wear it in to the office everyone in the Spermheads office would be saying "what the phuck is that?"

Corri must have consulted Greg's sister. They are probably BFFs.

Well they can't "fire" Cousins. They're locked in to him through 2020.

😆

Can't they just release him and then not pay his.... ooooooooooohhhhhhhh... never mind.

Dalvin Cook did Flip no favors either. Has no rushing TD's all season, has no 100 yard rushing game, has 367 yards for the year, and can't stay healthy.  Considering the hopes they had for him, that's looking more and more like a b***

The Vikings are 30th in the NFL avg 85 yards per game.

Murray is a much better runner.
