Good news for the Badgers, all 5 starters will be back. Now they need to land 2-3 transfers that can contribute plus some help from their recruiting class.

Not true Jordan D is gone
The Badgers had a bad season but they were ranked and 12-2 at one point. They just never got anybody off the bench to emerge as a factor. A couple more decent players and they could have won 6-8 more games and we'd be having a different conversation. They have a solid nucleus, just need to add a few players. Some size under the basket and a wing that can get his own shot would be a good start.
Thatβs right. Ooops.
Still not doing cartwheels. π

Gard has recruited 2 of the 3 positions he needed to. Now he needs a presence under the basket. He can't have many scholarships left to work with.
I know you're joking about his job, I think he'll get plenty of slack. He's at a severe disadvantage with this NIL stuff. Even Izzo is talking out against it. Gard described it as free agency with no rules. He said 3 of his players, I think we can guess who, have been recruited on campus to go elsewhere.
Noah Reynolds from Wyoming decommitted today. Rumor has it a close relative was hired at UW-Green Bay and he may go there instead.
His brother got hired. But realistically, why would a kid give up a scholarship at the UW for GB? I don't care if his brother did get hired I think it's a step backwards.
not a big loss
