Yelich is 3 for 5 so far tonight. Also 2 RBI. Average is now .277!! In the last 15 games he is hitting .375. He has turned it around.
Game over Crew wins 5-2. Williams gets the save, Wilson gets the win. Reds are tied 7-7 with the Orioles in the 9th.
Yeli with an ops over 800, could argue he is an all star.

Urias sent down to triple A , Turang brought back up.
Hope Turang has also turned things around. He had a 13 game hitting streak at Nashville while batting .289. I also hope he does not have only an AAA bat.
Too bad they left bases loaded to end the the top of the 7th.
Got out of a jam in the bottom of the 7th with bases loaded and 1 out, must have been a double play. Whew.

The Mets are on the verge of a selloff. Their owner claims Showalter and the GM are safe until the end of the season but they are currently searching for a president of baseball operations which is vacant. David Stearns can probably name his price.

In the 80s I met a guy that was on the Braves with Spahn. He said he was a complete prick but he was better than everybody at everything. Probably the best hitting pitcher ever until Ohtani came along.
Never heard of him being a jerk. Kirk Gibson, yes.
