Some really big time performances tonight against one of the toughest teams in the NFL. We've gone through the + and -'s of the game. Time for some game balls to be handed out.

Mine:

First game ball goes to Randall Cobb. One of the biggest splashes in an NFL debut I can remember, especially for the Packers. Nice TD catch, and a just stupid 110 yard kickoff return TD. He showed some incredible explosiveness and balance making it through the scrum, and coming out the other side. I didn't think it was possible to improve on this offense after Finley and Grant came back from injuries. I was wrong. Cobb is a big time player, and he will continue to make a big impact the rest of the season.

Aaron Rodgers. No matter what the defense or special teams gave to the Saints, Aaron had the offense hitting on all cylinders. Three touchdown passes in the first quarter, and an incredible overall performance head to head against Drew Brees. As much as the Saints were scoring, I just knew that we were taking the ball back and going in for 6.

Donald Driver. Not a statistically huge game, but he looked at full speed. Congrats on grabbing catch #700. He'll pass James Lofton's franchise yardage mark next week. Also, Donald came up huge recovering the onside kick. The old man still has some tricks up his sleeve.

The offensive line. Yup, the entire unit. Some bumps early on, but they really hunkered down, and played a great game. Chad Clifton's finger wiggle to draw the Saints offsides was classic Cliffy. Sitton just mauled some people, Bulaga was solid. Wells and Lang were great. An area of concern coming into tonight's game suddenly looks like a strength. Well done, boys! There's a tray of raw meat waiting or you outside of Lambeau.
