I don't buy that for one minute. How can he take a nut shot when they are clearly in Shailene's purse?
That was a hell of a play by Jenkins!
If the "double nut shot" was so bad, that throw would not have been such a tight spiral. It's a perfectly thrown ball to the wrong spot. Sounds like he's now finding excuses for bad plays...
you would also think the shot would come after the pass was thrown.
As soon as he notices it was picked off he shoulda went down grabbing his junk and started rolling around or something to try and get the refs to somehow call a roughing the passer penalty. Coulda maybe got that one back if he tried to sell it.
Without pictures, there's no proof.

I hear he's going to be a character in Grand Theft Auto 6.

Knew a guy in high school who took a slapshot right in the biscuits. Split the cup right in two and he's called uniballer now.

Donβt know if this was already posted and I missed it, but Elgton Jenkins, in his first career start at LT, was the third highest graded LT for Week 1. He was graded only slightly behind Joel Bitonio and Trent Williams. Guess heβs got 5 more weeks to improve.

Smallest sample size ever ... one game , but would it have made more sense to;
Not resign:
Bak, Jones, Lowry, King
Resign;
Linsley

I wonder whose guy that was?
I was ready to blame Patrick, but seeing that arm stretched out at far right...was that Jenkins' guy?
That was definitely Patrick. Jenkins had all of one hurry in that game. He was outstanding. It was the middle of the line that completely melted on a regular basis.
They need to re-evaluate Newman at this point. I don't care how good he was in camp, having two rookies side by side is just asking for trouble. It also leads me to wonder just how good the competition was in the first place. What happened to Runyon?

C over a LT? Not in a million years.
Bak at LT, Jenkins at RT for now, Turner in at guard simply for vet presence next to Meyers and a complete re-evaluation of second guard spot. Patrick would probably default into it but at least Runyon has a year under his belt. Not sure why he wasn't in the running as a starter, he did a decent job last year.
I'm not a fan of Turner on the inside but he can't be worse than that train wreck on Sunday. Really starting to see some serious boner rookie coaching staff bullshit popping up.

The most relevant discussion point is Jones vs. Linsley. As Henry says, it's LT over almost everything else outside of QB.
If you strip away the funny-money out years from the two contracts, it comes down to this.
Linsley, 2 years, 26 million, 13 million signing bonus, 7.8 dead million dead cap to cut after 2 years.
Jones, 2 years, 20 million, 13 million signing bonus, 6.5 million dead cap to cut after 2 years.
I'd have kept Linsley instead of Jones especially after Bakh got hurt. You could have then prioritized other positions instead of drafting a center in the second round (ILB perhaps?) and then felt better about moving Jenkins to LT for 6-8 weeks.
The Packers felt that having Jones and an extra 3 million a year was a better choice.

He also led the team in tackles for the first half of the game.
Looks to me like he just needs a little more booty to hold at night.
He looks like the guy that put his buddy in da woodchipper.

Not picking C over LT...proposing Jenkins playing there at what he is paid over what we have to pay Bak, along with rest of "no resigns" to spend $ on the defense.
