What a fun day of football.
I'm so thankful that Tschmack isn't a Buccaneer fan.

Hope Barry was noting how Brady can be horrible.
Not really certain why anyone thinks games against the Browns and Vikings will be βgimmeβ wins. Packers are a at home and will be favored. But both teams are also fighting for their playoff lives. And both are certainly capable of beating the Packers. One week at a time. Beat the Browns and see where things are after next Sunday.
Every game going forward is a playoff game.

Seems like you think the Lions are a gimme win. Why is that?

Browns game got easier because of the schedule changes. They go from a Monday game to a Saturday game. Itβs not a gimme, but itβs one they should win.
The Vikings always scare me. Thatβs why Iβm hoping for a Dallas loss. We can still win the bye with 4 losses if Dallas has 5 losses.
MVP race has tightened significantly (I'd give AR the slight edge).

As everyone has said the playoffs start now. From what little I have seen of the Browns this year they seem to be kind of up and down. One thing I wonder is when they will get their players back from the COVID list? I think they had around 20 players in the protocol the last few days. One thing about the Browns is that my ex wife's family are all huge Clowns fans so beating them on Christmas definitely wouldn't suck.
The other two games against the Spermheads and Lions scare me a bit. MN always plays us tough and we saw what the Lions might be capable of when they beat the Cards.

Minnesota 20, Chicago 6. This game screams, Finish your holiday shopping tonight.
It may not apply tonight, but in the past 2-3 years Chicago has not been a favorable match up for MN. Itβs mainly attributed to the fact that the Bears have been a shit ton more physical than MN and kicked their ass at the line of scrimmage. Iβm not sure if that will ring true tonight with players like Mack out and other starters, but on the surface I like Chicago.

Good call, Vegas agrees.
According to DraftKings, Rodgers' odds of +125 for the MVP award now rank at the top of the list, just ahead of Brady's +175. To this point in the season, Brady had been the steady frontrunner for the plaudit, according to oddsmakers.
These are great! TB Tantrums!
So glad they ended it with that Lambeau Field rant.

From another source: In the fourth quarter, right after he threw an interception to C.J. Gardner-Johnson, his anger bubbled over. Running past the Saints sideline, Brady appeared to yell "go f*** yourself" right in the face of defensive line coach Ryan Nielsen.
Always worth the price of admission seeing Brady smash a tablet during the game.
Rodgers has at least two nationally televised showcases to sew up the MVP, with Browns and Vikings. Lions, probably won't go national.

Can't stand pricks like that.

While I donβt think any games are βgimmesβ, I can certainly see why a presumption might be a little easier to make against one of the worst teams in football. But the Browns and Vikings (despite their loss to Detroit) are much better teams than the Lions. And both teams are very much in the playoff hunt, unlike the Lions. Lastly, thereβs the potential that the Lions wonβt matter for seeding, so I wasnβt really considering that game in my original comment.
The Packers should get up every morning and thank someone that they play in a division with the Vikings and Bears ... and somehow the LIons are even worse.
The NFC North is soooooo bad.

Lions just beat the Cards convincingly. And a couple of weeks ago beat that same Vikings team that is no gimme. And the game is in Detroit. And it's a division game. I don't see the Lions rolling out the red carpet for Green Bay in week 18. I'd say the Lions are at least as good as the Bears, they have had shit luck at the ends of a lot of their games this year.
Hubris.
See my last sentence in my previous post. Iβm actually not debating you, as evidenced by the first sentence in my last post.

I was hoping they'd end up in a tie game, just so their records were both below .500.

The lip-reading crowd believes it was βGo f*** yourself, palβ
And Brady says this right after his clinching game-losing interception. Go figure.
