Not really certain why anyone thinks games against the Browns and Vikings will be β€œgimme” wins. Packers are a at home and will be favored. But both teams are also fighting for their playoff lives. And both are certainly capable of beating the Packers. One week at a time. Beat the Browns and see where things are after next Sunday.

Browns game got easier because of the schedule changes.   They go from a Monday game to a Saturday game.   It’s not a gimme, but it’s one they should win.

The Vikings always scare me.   That’s why I’m hoping for a Dallas loss.   We can still win the bye with 4 losses if Dallas has 5 losses.

As everyone has said the playoffs start now.  From what little I have seen of the Browns this year they seem to be kind of up and down.  One thing I wonder is when they will get their players back from the COVID list?  I think they had around 20 players in the protocol the last few days.  One thing about the Browns is that my ex wife's family are all huge Clowns fans so beating them on Christmas definitely wouldn't suck.

The other two games against the Spermheads and Lions scare me a bit.  MN always plays us tough and we saw what the Lions might be capable of when they beat the Cards.

It may not apply tonight, but in the past 2-3 years Chicago has not been a favorable match up for MN. It’s mainly attributed to the fact that the Bears have been a shit ton more physical than MN and kicked their ass at the line of scrimmage. I’m not sure if that will ring true tonight with players like Mack out and other starters, but on the surface I like Chicago.

Seems like you think the Lions are a gimme win. Why is that?

While I don’t think any games are β€œgimmes”, I can certainly see why a presumption might be a little easier to make against one of the worst teams in football.  But the Browns and Vikings (despite their loss to Detroit) are much better teams than the Lions. And both teams are very much in the playoff hunt, unlike the Lions.  Lastly, there’s the potential that the Lions won’t matter for seeding, so I wasn’t really considering that game in my original comment.

Lions just beat the Cards convincingly. And a couple of weeks ago beat that same Vikings team that is no gimme. And the game is in Detroit. And it's a division game. I don't see the Lions rolling out the red carpet for Green Bay in week 18. I'd say the Lions are at least as good as the Bears, they have had shit luck at the ends of a lot of their games this year.
