On the slate for Sunday are a bunch of dogs with the exception of a couple of games.

NYG (2-12) at ATL (6-7)
New QB or not, the Falcons should stave off elimination for another week.

AZ (7-7) at CAR (3-11)
The Cards should take this one, but I don't know how they handle cross-country road trips. The Panthers could pull off the upset in a surprise.

DET (12-2) at CHI (4-9)
I'd like to see the Bores pull off a major upset, but I won't hold my breath waiting.

LAR (8-6) at NYJ (4-10)
Another NFCW team making a cross-country road trip. The Rams should win this one in spite of that; they're a much better team.

PHI (12-2) at WAS (9-5)
We'll see if the Commodes are ready to play big-boy football or if they may be another year and a couple of players away from seriously competing.
I have no problems with a Eagles victory because it would push Washington another game behind the Packers, and keeps them in contention for the #1 seed.

MIN (12-2) at SEA (8-6)
Can the Hawks stop the Vikings? Unfortunately, I doubt it.
Seattle should have enough firepower on offense to contend, but their defense has a tall task trying to control the Vikings offense.

SF (6-8) at MIA (6-8)
Yet another NFCW team making the cross-country trip.
Ordinarily, I'd look for the Niners to crush a team like the Dolphins, but as this year has shown, they're just not that good.

TB (8-6) at DAL (6-8)
I'd like to see DallAss win this week, and they might have a slight chance, but the Bucs are a better team on both sides of the ball.

I'm interested to watch Penix today.

I think you're underestimating the Hawks defense due to the way the Packers tore them apart. Let's see which version of the Vikings shows up today.

Rams vs the hapless Jets. What else can go wrong for the Jets? Gipson just muffed a punt, recovered by the Rams, to seal the victory for the Rams. Anders Carlson kicks a FG attempt W-I-D-E right. Rodgers fumbles the ball, gets injured, ball recovered by the Rams, who scored a TD in their possession.  Jets LT Fashanu gets carted off the field. Will Kark be a Jet? IMO, he deserves it.
