Washington defense is going to be good for next couple of years at least ...crazy talent.
@pkr_north posted:I just don't really want any part of tampa.
That's exactly the team I want to see Green Bay play.
To be the man......WOOOOO.....you gotta beat the man!
Tampa is far from The Msn.
Jalen Hurts.looks good.
If Glutemas is right that Love is better than Hurts tha Packers may have something.

Pfft, Brady will be another two weeks older by then.
I don't think Brady would relish having to come to us to play in the cold
Jalen Hurts sucks.
Anyone think the Redskins can beat the Bucs?
Eagles went from Super Bowl champs to pathetic mess
Winner of the east shouldn't be graded on a curve.
Fuckin' Eagles.
My opinion of Doug Pederson just took a major dump.
What does he currently have to work with?
The decision to play Sudfeld in the fourth quarter.
Nothing to do with his w/l record.

Maybe they won’t beat them, but they could beat them up a bit. Their D could possibly pressure Brady enough to make him work up a sweat. But yeah... I don’t like their chances vs Tampa.

Really really bizarre. Better draft position? Crazy to make that move.
I think either Lurie or Roseman or both told Doug to put in Sudfeld. Dugie can claim the decision is 100% his all he wants....we all know better.
Their draft position improved from 9th to 6th by losing.
Here's Hurts saying...."It's not right!"
Hurts knew the fix was in. Clearly dejected. Obviously says “it’s not right” and shakes his head. pic.twitter.com/rSZibS4HZn

How to demoralize your young QB and team in one easy move...

Who is Sudfeld? Their other first round QB?
Watching the end of the Seattle game after they recovered the onside kick to end it all they had to do was kneel down and the game is over. Instead they ran a jet sweep with a push pass to David Moore. I thought it was stupid, but now we know why - it earned Moore and extra $100k bonus.
Hurts was 7 of 20 for 72 yards and a pick. He shouldn’t complain about being benched with those numbers.
Disagree @Herschel -- Let your young QB work through it.
Miles Sanders on @SportsRadioWIP on Jalen Hurts sitting" "Man if I'm being honest, nobody liked the decision, nobody. That's all I can say really. I don't know who was the main person behind that decision. All I know is that a lot of people on the team was confused." #Eagles

Bucs are 1-3 in games in which Brady gets beat up. I will say the offense looked incompetent Sunday night vs. Eagles.
With Alex Smith & their other QB alternating snaps, I don't see how. Alex has a calf strain.
If Alex was 100% healthy I'd give them a punchers chance if they can get a few turnovers.
Anything short of the WFT defense scoring 2-3 times, I don't see how they can beat Tampa.
Sadly, Boris, I think you're right.
Maybe you should use your betting hex again...
How cold will it be in WAS for the game? Curious to see if TB has to deal with any weather closer to freezing. Brady says he hates the cold but 98% of his career and success has come in a cold weather climate.
Imagine if Brady got covid. The whole NFL might grind to a halt!
@Goalline posted:If they can beat up Tom Brady, there's a chance, but that offense ain't going to do well against the Bucs' defense.
Washington can play some really good defense and can put some heat on the passer. But with that they are going to have to get some turnovers that give them a short field. I really think they can do it defensively but can they do anything on offense? TB has given up points this season so its not like they are the 85 Bears.
Today Washington's coach Ron Rivera said he is considering rotating QBs this weekend. I am no expert but when has that really worked?

The early forecast for Saturday is a mix of sun and clouds with a high of 39.
The overnight low is forecast at 24, clear conditions, light winds and virtually no chance of any precipitation.

If my calculations are correct, Brady’s playoff record in road games is 4 wins and 6 losses. 5 of those 6 losses came in Pittsburg and Denver - both cold weather cities in January.
I would think that significant if WFT had a decent offense. It was painful to watch them work Sunday night...

The weather didn't beat Tommy , the Steelers and Donkeys had some pretty good teams.
I wouldn't believe anything above 32F would be an issue for any NFL player.
I don’t think the ‘skins have much of a chance. That said, even bad teams beat really good teams on occasion, even in the playoffs. If the Bucs come out flat on either/both sides of the ball, they could be in trouble, even against a not very good Washington team.
It didn't matter which team came out of that division; none of them are very good. Still, I'd add Chase Young to our roster if I could poach someone.
Of note: Evans may miss the game this weekend. Haven't read anything about the prognosis on his injury but he'd be a good one to have on the bench.
