Let me start with the play on the field has been average at best...but after going to the Lions & Dallas game I left asking what the heck happened to the Fans at Lambeau.   In both games the stadium lacked energy and there was little to no crowd noise.   When did we decide it was bad fan behavior to  stand-up and cheer your  a** off on a big third down, or when the opposing team was backed-up in the endzone?   On Dallas's 97 yard drive at the end of the 1st half the south end zone sat quietly while Dak changed a play.   The special teams unit would run down the field on a touchback and beg the fans to get into the game, with no luck.

We can complain about the play on the field, Rodgers needs to be better, Receivers need to get separation, DBs are injured, etc.  However, the fans need to be accountable too....If you are at Lambeau you need to make a difference, be loud, pick the team-up - there is no reason Lambeau can't be the loudest outdoor stadium....we just need to stop showing up for games and expecting the team to perform.

The play on the field has been bad and the Atmosphere in the stadium has been just as bad.  The second one is on us, we too need to be better!

mystique: a fascinating aura of mystery, awe, and power surrounding someone or something.

when the team shows some awesome play and power and don't leave the fans in mystery as to what the h*ll is going on out there, I'm sure you'll be able to enjoy your "mystique" again.

Lambeau isn't Arrowhead as far as accoustics go.  Was at the Giants game and the fans were in it...making noise when on defense and cheering on big plays.

It is hard for the fans to be in it when your offense is stalling.

I was at Lambeau and disagree to a large extent about your second point (crowd noise) mostly because I completely agree with your first point (poor play)

First drive the crowd was alive and loud. The D never even got to a 3rd down. Very deflating.

Opening offensive drive was electric with chants of Eddie, Eddie, after his 25 yard run. Then on 3rd and 1 we run Rip for the old Kuhn I never get a first play. We settle for 3. We settle for 3 down 20-6 in the second half. What is there to get excited about? That is boring, bad, conservative, unimaginative, untalented offensive football that saps the energy out of the most loyal of fans.

Also, we showed NO SENSE OF URGENCY hustling to the line of scrimmage even when down 27-9. You want folks to get pumped about a team going through the motions? My wife is a die-hard optimist and she could not believe how little the team seemed to care -- especially the O.

Furthermore, the O has been BORING for a long time now. Do they have a 30-yard play this season? ARod shows ZERO emotion. Jordy looks like he knows its over or at least it will never be like it was. Justin Perrillo & Richard Rogers look like they should be playing beer-league softball not NFL football. (Ty at least provided some energy).

I've never heard as much open dismay with MM's play calling as I did yesterday. The slow-developing 2nd half draws down 2 scores were the type of we give up lets get out of the building without any more injury plays that are really difficult to cheer for. The Montgomery 3-yard loss on the toss play around mid-field led to more grumbling (and a more than a few choice comments about the lack of a 2nd RB on the roster).

Oh, and the D was gashed just like most every other big game the past 6 seasons.

I think there was plenty of passion from the fans, it just took the form of booing a team that richly deserved it.

At least it was a beautiful fall day. Oh, and lots and lots of Cowboy fans thoroughly enjoyed themselves.

Thanks for that reminder Talkin2Phil

I was at that game.  For as bad as GB looked against Dallas yesterday they were horrible against Vick at Lambeau that January.

Only time I felt worse after attending a game live was at Metrodome in 1993 - the Badgers v Gophs.

The GBP limped into that playoff game at Lambeau.  I was there too.  It was a triage team and they were rightfully booted.  But, MAN, did I hate to see the first playoff loss at Lambeau that day.

The Packers have  several major problems. The biggest problem is Don Capers, he should of been caned years ago. The second problem the Packers have is a lack of offensive weapons. Jordy maybe done or needs more time to heal. Cobs is to small to carry the load, other then the young guys the other offensive players are not that dangerous. The next big problem they have is Don Capers needs to be fired. Did I mention the capers needs to be canned.

And finally the first things the Packers need to do is  get rid of Dan Capers..

All fair comments....I have an idea if you are at the game tomorrow night...don't be afraid to stand-up and be heard.   You know you did your part if your throat is a little sore in the am.   Go Pack!

Quick, someone! Blame Favre.

Bert is a POS much like yourself.  Happy?

Here's a question for you.  Do you think your TT did a bad thing to Bert butthurt from years ago isn't apparent every time you show up on this board?  Funny you don't run your mouth like you did on other dead boards because you know you'd get your proverbial teeth kicked in around here.  You show up when the white blood cell count is high in the body of Packer fandom.

I got told to sit down during the 1994 playoff game against the Lions.  The first playoff game at Lambeau in 30 years.  Buncha old fat farts who didn't want to stand up.  "I'll call an usher", they said.  I said, "Call a damn usher!  This is the playoffs!".
