Despite JA's college production I never bought in to him accomplishing much in the pros, especially after last year's IR.  But he sure looked good vs MIN for a guy just getting his first touches.

I would like to see Abby have some success. But will we be back where we started beyond the first quarter while he's back on the sideline dinged up again? Let's hope that's behind him for a while.

Abby just needs to suit up to impact the game

After reading the recent post about the  'speed' of Jones and Adams, Abby could come out on crutches and be the fastest Packer receiver

The Packers are banged up on the OL (I think 4 OL listed as questionable) so it could come down to a super human effort by the defense.  Dom has to get heat on Stafford and make sure they stop the run.  The Packers defense has to make sure this isnt a track meet and keep the Lions below 17-20 points.  But the more I think about it if the defense holds them to that amount of points we have to hope the offense can score about  21 to win.

The Lions are the lIons, just like always they are probably just a tease.  They beat the eagles who did not even attempt to play. They eked out  a home victory against the Raiders. Sure they beat the  Pack at GB, did anyone think that victory streak would go on forever? And by they way they did not dominate that Packers in that game.

My point?  Detroit in my book is Detroit until they prove the're not.  If (and it is a big if) the Packers can get a couple of turnovers on D and play a clean game on O they will win.

It's  the freaking Lions for gods sake.....

RTFB... That's for starters.

Then after that, RTFB.

Then take a few shots deep so you can RTFB some more.

If they start chucking the ball around the yard like last week beyond the 50, Clements should be hired at halftime. Play physical football and pound the ball play after play after play.

Kinda sorta, but he also needs to be on the field. I'm not saying he's some kind of savior, but when was the last game they had 4 healthy and competent WRs?

If they are going to continue to be "We do what we do", then they need the numbers to make that work. The statistics are there with the 3WR, 1TE, 1RB formation and how obvious it is to the Defense and arm-chair QBs what's coming.

Abby is a gap stop WR who's also made of glass. When healthy, great. Use him when you can and get what you can out of him. But there is no way he's a long term solution at WR. And for this year, that's OK. At this point, we'll take anything.

Im looking forward to seeing what he can do.

I have yet to scream the world is ending and chalk up this season to a 6-0 start with no playoffs.  Here' why.

They started 6-0, great.  Then they lost 4 of 5, terrible.

In 2 of the 4 losses they were in it until the very end and were in position to (and should have) won the game in regulation in the last minute but simply didn't.  Crosby shanked a field goal to beat the Lions and the Packers suffered two dropped balls in the end zone against the Bears when it was 1st and goal from the 8 yard line.  Don't forget that 28 points were taken off the board against the Bear (14 from phantom penalties and 14 from dropped balls).

They could have potentially forced OT with the Panthers, but couldn't come through in the last minute.

The Broncos?  They're just good, no way around that loss @Denver.

So what's going to be the determining factor tonight?  The dome.

There's no excuse this week.  There's no rain, no wind, no snow, no "bad field," no slippery conditions, no ANYTHING that can be hinted as an excuse as to why the offense can't get on the same page.  It's put up or shutup time now.

AR for 300+ yards and 2 TDs, Lacy for 100 yards, and the defense with 2 TOs.  If this team can't do this in a dome, it's just not going to happen this year.

Here's another change to look for. Ian Rapoport says to expect Ryan to either start or play a more prominent role over Palmer. Maybe Palmer watching Miller score his TD from the other side of the endzone was the final straw.

Dear Clements, Please play Janis more than just on KOs. Please use more creative sets at the LOS. Please have some plays with a WR in motion rather than everyone standing like statues until the ball is snapped. Please do something different. If not, please give your playcalling sheet to MM and go home. Signed, Fans.
