This may be a stupid ass idea, but given that we all live all over the place, I thought It would be at least interesting to know where all you biscuit heads watch the game each week. Home, bar, friends, at venue, brothel, etc. It’d be cool to post about that experience prior and after. I know we’ve all had some unique and storytelling experiences which is why I ask. I’ll post it every week prior to game. If I’m being a cheesy jerk off about this topic let me know. I’ll get over it.

Got a good feeling about this year.

My easy chair, but I have over the years watched many a game in many a Packer Bar all over this great country.  The best,  if ever any of you guys find yourself in Colorado Springs on game day is Tony's Bar in downtown CS.  Leinies and Pabst on tap, originally owned and perhaps still is by two guys from Minoqua.  The funny thing is it is managed by a Vikings fan, a good natured Viking fan.  This is a military town with lots of active duty and retired folks from Wisconsin, I have occasionally run into someone who knows someone from somewhere in Wisconsin whom I know if you know what I mean.   They serve up a good fish fry too.  Lots of  autographed Packer and Badger stuff on the walls,  even a couple of ratty looking walleye mounts....makes a guy downright homesick.

Inside a hookah pipe

Was planning on going to the game but my Monday work schedule is horrific.  I’m saving myself for Lambeau the next week v the staaacked Queens.

Need to do some painting and yard work and if I play my cards right there may be some cookie icing in my future.   Just kidding I’ll be watching in the cave kicking back some scotch and spliffs minus the spliffs.  Unless catts shows up in chat room then it’s ****ing on.

The game will be on the TV in the living room, likely with the sound off.  I will be nervously pacing, often going out into the garage, where the game will be playing on the radio.  There's a delay, so if I hear something good on the radio, I have time to race back into the house and see it on TV.

After a victory, I can then watch the recorded game at my leisure over the next week, with the sound up, because the commentators cannot possibly aggravate me now.

That's this week.  Different story when it's not a national game.  Sports bar time...

I’ve been to this place back when Chefs Catalog was in CS. 2008 I think.... maybe 2009.

Pickled eggs. Lots and lots of pickled eggs. Think they were .75 cents each back then.

Great Packer bar.

I will watching from the confines of Northern Cali. Last call prediction. 1-0.

I'll be home watching the game alternating between the love seat and my recliner.  Dressed in my best Packer gear too.   I'll also be wondering why Henry has not replaced MM as head coach.

I can relate wildly. Don’t know where you live, but it’s obviously not in WI with sports bar comment. Funny thing about the garage. I grew up in WI, moved out, then moved back. All of a sudden everyone my age (45) watches games in garage in WI. Some great, great memories with my good friend Chillijon.

Now we both live in black holes.

I’ll start watching in my lazy girl, then if I start to get that feeling of despair, i’ll Go into the office and watch here line by line as the game is going on.  Couldn’t make it without you, my pals here on Timesfour.

Racist.

I'd watch the games in my garage, but my garage is 154 degrees.

Well, that and the Bentley would be in the way.

Truth is.....in the "Sports room"

That is the yellowist yellow that yellow could ever be.

On topic.. This week I’ll be on the reclining couch watching the 70” flat screen.  I’m not a big fan of watching games with others unless they know the game and STFU during it.  Slim pickings.

Next week is a problem... I board a plane at 11:00 and land at 3:00.  Internet might be an option on the plane so I’ll be looking for suggestions, links or whatever.

With or without the boob monkey?

Truth be told...in the midst of a move....that room is no more.

Mrs. Blair Kiel always walked past that room and muttered, "What was I thinking when I let you do that?"

Agree with this! I don't have a 70" screen, but even if an NFL analyst sat next to me I'd tell him to STFU. Maybe we'd talk during commercials and at half, but I don't want any yapping during plays.

Last Thursday, I was in my truck listening on SiriusXM and reading my iPad. I am spending the summer and part of the fall at a cottage in Canada. Sunday night football will be broadcast on tv so the little tv we have here will bring the game to life for me. But I will still have the iPad so I can read and possibly comment from time to time.

Oh, when I wear green and gold here the locals think it’s the “colours ”of a CFL team. Ay 🇨🇦

Sure would be great to have the NFL broadcast in 4k.

Yeah, why don’t they. NBC broadcasts Notre Dame games in 4K. Why not Sunday Night NFL games?

All the World Cup games were showed in 4K, some in Dolby Atmos. NFL FU, get in line.

Sell the hippy car and buy a few of them.

I really needed to buy a new washer and drier, but bought a 75" screen TV instead. Also got surround sound.  Can't wait. Currently getting the silent treatment from the wife.  I thought I had her trained.  WTF?

This will be the first game I've been to in person since 2007.  I think M. Crosby, T Williams, and A. Rodgers might be the only guys left from that team still on the Pack.  Both games I went to in 2007 were wins and I hope for and expect for the same outcome to happen tomorrow night. It will be tough though, I think this might be the best Bears team since 2010.

I watch on TV in my family room - with the exception of the one or two games per year I attend in person.

But I need a new TV - we have a 51 inch old LED now.  There is a leak in the seal for the screen and a bluish haze sometimes is on parts of the screen.  I still see a full screen - maybe just not the real color.

And after visiting my brother in law, I need a new recliner sofa combo - after sitting in his furniture.  Current sofa & chair are many years old.  Fortunately, my wife agrees on both accounts.  After our trip to Australia in October/November, we will get information and figure out how much we need to make these purchases a reality.  Got to get thru the trip first.

I don't watch with other people.  I stop, rewind, rewind again.  If I watch with a moron, that just pissing me off.

Basically why I can't do a game thread either
