Okay, so Peyton has eclipsed Brett's record for TD passes.  Good for him.

But let discuss this--with all the modern era great QB's, which would you rather spend time with?

Consider:

-Tom Brady

-Peyton Manwings

-Brett

-Phillip Rivers

-Ben Rothlisburger

-Aaron Rodgers

-Russell Wilson

As for me, I think about it this way.  I'd want to have fun with the person and be able to joke and see

them for who they are--not a starched shirt with a swelled head and no ability to make fun of himself.

Brady and Manning are great QB's, but I'd rather do my laundry than spend a day with them.

To me it's no contest.  If I could spend a day in a duck or goose blind, or fishing with one of these guys it

would be Brett, hands down.   I'm not sure if Aaron is an outdoors person, but he certainly shows his sense

of humor through his photobombs.   He'd be my #2.    Of course, if he ends up with more Super Bowl rings than

Brett, I could be swayed to pick him first!  And of course, if Olivia Munn came along, so much the better.   Although personally I always had a thing for Deanna Favre.

If "real" Bert was the kind of guy we'd like to imagine him being, he could be fun to spend an afternoon fishing, adult beverages in moderation, telling war stories, and so forth.

Otherwise, it would be hard to tell when he is being disingenuous.

Roethlisberger used to ride motorcycles; if he still did or could, I'd be up for ripping some mountain roads.

I think ARod would be cool to hang with; he seems easy-going enough and has a great sense of humor.

Of the guys listed above, it would be Peyton Manning.

If Favre had truly been what he had been portrayed pre-2008, it would have been him hands down.  Unfortunately, his image was a bit of a sham.  He wanted everyone to think he was "just one of the guys" who just happened to be really good at football.  But out of all of those guys he may have been the most arrogant other than Roethlisberger.

There's so many old-timers that I'd love to talk to more than anyone on that current list.  Guys like Starr, Staubach, Stabler, Namath, Bradshaw, Unitas (if he were still around), would all have some pretty incredible stories.  Dan Fouts is another guy who I think would have been pretty cool and interesting.

Sonny is terrific. Adores Vince as much as any of the Lombardi Packers. Was the best radio analyst for the Redskins for many years, a great partnership with Sam Huff in that capacity. (My favorite radio part besides his stories and wonderful demeanor was his unerring ability to predict play calls pre-snap. He's lost a tad off his fastball but unfortunately Snydercorp is phasing him on out air for Chris Cooley, former Wash TE who talks over Sonny all the time).

Sonny is still the King in DC.
