Think both teams are going to be good next year. I'll give the edge to Seattle simply based on Peyton being a year older trying to get through 16 games upright again.

SF and GB will be part of the conversation. I could see NE making a big FA push for Decker to return the Welker favor. I don't think Carolina and KC are going to repeat their 2013 success.

Denver and Seattle after 2014..... Not a pretty picture.

I don't understand the fascination with Denver myself.   Sure, they have good receivers but without Manning that is a .500 team at best.

Seattle is much more suited to win in the long term.  They have Lynch and Wilson and a great young defense.   They also have the best homefield advantage in football.

The problem with both teams is that their divisions have also gotten a lot better too.   KC and SD are solid.  SF is very good and AZ and STL have gotten much better.

This is why I like GB.  The NFC North is pretty average and barring more injuries next year I see no reason why the Packers can't secure a 1 or 2 seed.

I think Denver hit their high water mark this year, both Manning and Brady are now past their prime. They both need a very good team around them to win a Super Bowl, their huge salary cap number make that difficult to achieve. Simply they are now over paid for what they can do and are being paid for past performance.

Seattle with come back to earth a bit because of the Salary cap, but they should be the favorite to win it all again next year. Now we have to wait and see what he off season brings.

Isn't that true for every team? Could Tarvaris Jackson have stepped in a ran the Seahawks offense like Wilson? Could Colt McCoy have led the 49ers to an NFCC? We all know how that scenario worked out for the Packers. That shouldn't be a negative for a team, it's a given IMO. That's why good QBs get paid $100 million, it's the most critical position on the team. Denver is a good team, they just weren't capable of matching the Seahawks unique blend of discipline, athleticism, and physicality.

Thanks for the tip Henry.  Because when I used to smoke I couldn't get out of bed in the morning and go to work.  I would turn into a mad man. people were afraid that I. Would jump off of a bridge.  I was also afraid I might beat up my wife.
