I had a horrible experience in the Bay Area yesterday. 49ers fans couldn't have been more classless. I don't really mind all of the over-the-top foul language and "Packers suck" type crap (don't like it, but I can deal with it), but that wasn't enough for them. As I was trying to get to my seat just before the game, someone purposefully slammed an elbow into my lower back. It was one of those crush scenarios where people were around you and moving in all directions, so he of course knew he'd get away with it. After the game, when they should have all just been happy, some dickhead on BART was trying his best to start a fight with me (strangely enough, he kept using the term "Fudgepackers" in the gayest, most politically correct region on the planet), but I wasn't going to get into it with him. If the Packers had won the game, I have no doubt that one of those degenerates would have punched me (or worse) while my back was turned. I'm wondering if anyone else had similar experiences with these ****heaps yesterday.

Sounds like my experiences with my Packer fan group from Wisconsin that went to the Metrodump four years in a row. That is why my hatred for the Vikings and their classless fans.

Sorry that you had that experience, Pack-Man. Some fans are just a bunch of classless d-bags.
In '06 when I went to the game in San Fran, their fans didn't even show up. I'm not surprised one bit now that they're good that they show up and act like punks.

As for the Vikings and the dump. I don't know, I've only been to one game there (Favre passing Marino game) Some friendly heckling, nothing vulgar. A lot of respect for their future savior Lord Favre, and some "good game" comments on the way out.

San Diego fans manage to be both completely fair weather and total punks at the same time in my experience.
That sucks. Sorry you had a bad experience.

It's always a few that make it terrible. I was also at the '06 game & the place was packed with Packer fans. Niner fans are very fair-weather

I was at In-N-Out burger last night. Niner fan dropped a $10 & I pointed it out to him. He said thanks. I let him know I was a Packer fan (wasn't wearing anything Green & Gold) & smiled. He was cool about it.

98% of the fans are decent. It's always the other 2% that make it miserable & that sucks.
