Anyone else not getting Redzone to work? I just get an info screen.
Soggy day here in SW WI. 3 inches of rain since friday night.

Same here. I have Charter.
As do I, CH. Anyone out there with a different provider? I don't want to wait on hold of it is an NFL Redzone issue.
I should drop kick Charter. I only ask them not to screw up once or twice a week.

Be careful about the contracts. DirecTV's is just brutal, it's why I finally decided to dump them (now have NFL Game Pass thanks to some trickery). I've had DTV for several years now. I dumped Charter after years of terrible service. I'll gladly take a contract with DTV for a product that actually works.

I just despise service contracts I guess. I don't have one on my mobile phone either (paid up front for my phone and use prepaid service). Being able to cancel my phone, Internet and TV services at any time is very convenient for me. If you're a person that watches a lot of TV, the contract is no big deal, but aside from a bit of baseball, I hardly ever turn it on during the offseason.
With the game tonight, heading out now for a 3-4 hour hike with my oldest. Too nice to sit inside this afternoon.
Somebody doesn't live in Wisconsin. Cold and rainy here.
It's not quite as daring as standing on the 3rd rung of a ladder.

No way to actually own your receiver boxes, so every time you cancel and want to renew (something people like me who don't watch much TV want to do), you're in a new contract. The ETF also costs hundreds of dollars. The fact that they think they can jam you into a contract just to start service is ridiculous. If I could actually own the boxes and start and stop service at my leisure, I'd still be a customer. Direct TV, while it still has it's issues, is waaaaay better customer service-wise and reception-wise than it was in the early years.
I made up my mind that I was finished with them when I had to miss the entire first quarter against the Bears in week 3 last year. Their dumb blackout policies forced me to watch an overtime game between the Lions and Vikings. The picture quality of NFL Game Pass isn't as good as NFL Sunday Ticket's, but the savings are massive. I have no contracts from Comcast for my TV/Internet bundle, and I never have to worry about blackouts. If the game I want is blacked out in the home country of the IP address I'm using, I just switch to another country (had to switch from a Canadian IP to a British one to get the game last week).
Well, I spent my morning and early afternoon driving 250 miles south to the Bay area - work related. However, just finished my first beer in my hotel room, unfortunately it was a girly beer. I think I need to cruise the local stores until I find some Eye of the Hawk to be ready for the Green Bay game.
