"As a rookie, you're like, 'Man, I wish I could go home and chill, play video games.' But at the same time you have a job and responsibility that you have committed to to this team to make sure that you're doing the best thing so that you can help this team win the Super Bowl."

"I've got an offseason to really come back and really sit back and chill and not do too much and get my mind right so I can come back stronger and a whole other player,"

It's Datone Jones.  Hopefully this morphs into an offseason meme - Jones is lazy and plays video games instead of working at his game or training.  Remember last year's offseason meme?  Lacy is fat, lazy, doesn't love football, buries himself in Big Macs and fries and is still depressed from Katrina?

Physical activity has been shown to improve brain function.  If sitting back is required to get his mind right I suspect this is another indication of poor conditioning or stretching.

Some of us do mind conditioners or stretchers more than others hence no need for video games.

Based on pressures, which is defined as the combination of sacks, knockdowns and hurries, Mike Daniels was the top rusher with 31.

Trailing Daniels were Mike Neal 30  Matthews 21, Nick Perry 18Â―,  Datone Jones 10Â―   A.J. Hawk 10  Brad Jones 8 , B.J. Raji 7Â―  Andy Mulumba 6, Johnny Jolly 4

The leaders in sacks were Daniels 7Â―  and Matthews 7Â― , Perry 5, Hawk 5  Neal 5  Brad Jones 4  Datone Jones 3Â―, Williams 2.5  Lattimore 2 Jolly 1

Among the players without a sack were Pickett, Raji, C.J. Wilson, Josh Boyd, Palmer, Sam Shields, Morgan Burnett and Jarrett Bush.

Largely because of rules changes favoring quarterbacks, the Packers had just 31 knockdowns, 21 fewer than a year ago. The only players with more than three were Matthews, 7Â―; Datone Jones and Neal, four; and Daniels, 3Â―.

The leaders in hurrieswere Neal, 21; Daniels, 20, and Perry, 13.

As a unit, the D-line had 58 pressures, down from 64Â― in 2012 but an improvement from 37 in 2011. In the Super Bowl campaign of 2010, the unit had 101Â―.

The linebackers dropped from 122Â― pressures to 100Â―, and the secondary fell from 15 to 12Â―.

Daniels led the D-line in pressures per snap with one every 17.4. He was followed by Datone Jones, one every 25.1;  Jolly, one every 71.8; Raji, one every 87.3;  Boyd, one every 116;  Wilson, one every 123; and Pickett, one every 178.

Now why would you wanna do that ?

Datone Jones is the poster boy for everything that is wrong with the Packers, including AJ Hawk's bad haircut.

By this time next week we hope to have him fully Justin Harrelled and would truly appreciate you getting on board with that effort.

And you wanna cut him some slack ? Ha !
