Boris may have nailed it with his 'prediction' of a ST play, a fumble recovery by a back-up player perhaps. Maybe Cobb returns a kick/punt for a TD?

Otherwise, I'd look for a player like Guion to make a play (ala' Howard Green), or HHCD to come up with an INT.

We have a ton of 'mid-level' guys who could really step up; any of the TEs or Adams on offense; Perry, Daniels, Neal on defense, as examples. We expect our playmakers to do just that, so it wouldn't be a surprise for CM, Peppers, Lacy, and others to have big plays.

With all that said, ARod will be the real  hero of this game.

Already is.  We wouldn't even be there otherwise.

Fun thread to see who can be the next best supporting cast, but really, it's trivial by comparison.

So absolutely hopeless without him, we put him out there with one leg, and you ask who the hero might be?  Come on now.

Burnett is not tackling Lynch down in the box, Dix is the only DB that can possibly bring enough wood to consistently get the job done .... Burnett needs cover center field and chase Russell, Barrington needs to exchange snot with Lynch in the hole, CM and Dix need to exchange snot with Lynch, stop the run to the outside, stop Russell run and help with TE in coverage. Hyde needs to stop TE and take heads off on crossing patterns (that's right, Kearse n Baldwin, I'm looking at you's two)

trump, Packers' best success against the run has been with Burnett crowding the line and Ha Ha playing centerfield. No single Packer secondary player is likely to bring down Lynch on any given play, the idea would be to clog running lanes and gang tackle the SOB.

The problem is that this can open up the outside for Wilson on zone reads. A dilemma for defenses, hence why Seattle led the league in rushing.

Cuqui, I understand what you saw from the Dallas screenshots .... If you go with that we are beat.
Lynch is a different beast and Witten could not run by Burnett.
TE Wilson better be shaded rather than covered because he'll run right by Burnett on the play action.
Romo wasn't going anywhere with his legs Russell Wilson won't hesitate.
You play Burnett at LOS. You are asking to be Kaeperdicked. JMO.
We'll see .... And that's why they play the game

OBJ

I think Adams is very similar to TY & OBJ. I'm really hoping Jordy gets on Shermans side. That's what I expected in game #1 but it never happened.

Maybe MM was "saving it" & playing vanilla in case they met again....you know like Belichick played it vanilla on Nov. 30th vs. Green Bay....just in case we meet again.

Watchcing playbook right now and they are showing just how fast the seattle DBs are and how good they are jumping routes.  My key is yep the OLine holding up long enough to see some double moves....these guys can be beat!!!  GO PACK GO!!!

My gut tells me there will be no more putting whoever against Sherman.

F him.

MM and the boys are going to run their offense, their way, with all the players they have confidence with... and more.

Pick your poison on if they are covered or not.... rope-a-dope... oh my was that Cobb? Duhvante? Did I just get Jordy'd?

There will be no fear on either side of the field.

Nothing will be left on the table.

Now THAT is interesting. I'll bet he would have trouble, at least initially, adjusting to throws on that other side of the field.

They're a good defense. They're a good team & they're the defending world champs. But they aren't the steel curtain of the 70's or the 2000 Ravens as some have suggested. They can & will be beat.
