Why a low interception % matters

The Packers have been at their best when their DBs are taking the ball away in bunches.

GB is very good on both sides of the turnover equation and are unstoppable when they get extra possessions for this offense

extra possessions + shorter field = different mind-set in play calling

They attack the boundaries more aggressively is my observation.

Waiting for the ball-hawking DBs that we saw in training camp to get lots of takeaways in the games....

Agree, but I guess that's why they are DB's and not WR's. I saw some opportunities that went through their hands and dropped. I expect that denying the pass comes first and getting the interception is the next job for a DB.

The other stat that correlates most highly with winning is "average yards gained per pass attempt". In the first four weeks of this season no team has won both of these categories (trunover differential & AYGPPA) & lost the game, I think there have been approximately 24 games in which this has happened.

BFI correlates with winning more than any other metric, including wins/losses.  

I wonder how many INT's GB's DB have dropped so far this year?  Anyone know??  I agree with Patrick, there seems to be quite a few.

You'll probably be waiting quite a while for many. Interceptions are down league-wide the last few years. Rivers and Cutler only threw 18 last year to lead the league, where there used to be multiple guys throwing well over 20 every season.
