Chip took last season's top RB and turned him from a gap-hitting, hard-running, North-South RB into an East-West, tip-toeing, just-trying-to-find-a-lane RB. He totally neutralized Murray's style. If I were Murray, I'm not sure I'd even suit up. It's just embarrassing.

The problem with firing Chippy in mid-year is that there's no fix that can be implemented this year. It would require tossing out the playbook -- and the players brought in to implement it -- and starting from scratch mid-year. I think they are stuck with Mr. Smarty-Pants College Boy for the year. However, within the hour after their last game, Chip will announce he's heading back to the college ranks and Peter King will have the XXL plate of crow.

The best thing about the Eagles offensive production the first two weeks is that it makes anybody who tries to predict actual performance in real games based on the exhibition season look like a fool. We should all keep this in mind when thinking about Hundley.

Remember the exhibition game 3 weeks ago when Sam Bradford looked like a superstar against the Packers defense? Mark Sanchez too?

Sam Bradford 10/10 121 Yards, 3 TDs, O Ints. 156.7 rating

Mark Sanchez 13/19 150 Yards, 2 TDs, 0 Ints. 127.1 rating

DeMarco Murray 6 carries, 28 yards

Chip's offense works when nobody game plans for it. When they do, it appears the most difficult thing for the defensive coordinators to do is to keep from laughing while watching game tape.
