notre dame is a has been football program. they will only be relevant in the minds of domer fans. the rest of the nation just laughs at them.

If BYU, Boise State and TCU can field competitive teams, Notre Dame still can. Obviously those schools play lesser teams, but Notre Dame could downgrade their scheduling a bit too. Their biggest problem is that it would take a special sort of coach to get that program running again, a talented guy who's enamored with the tradition. The vast majority of the top guys don't want to deal with all of the BS that you have to put up with when running that football team.quote:Originally posted by beef:
