The slow start killed them. They remembered how to execute in the final 10 minutes of the game, but had to be perfect to pull off the comeback. A couple TOs and that was all she wrote.

Bo has to read his team carefully and make sure the guys that are playing well are on The floor. We have all been raving about Tra Jax the last couple weeks, but 1-10 is not helping your team. When you shoot 30% thats where the transition baskets come from.

So Marshall makes an interesting statement last night- "don't forget about me." Bo has to pay attention- sometimes the matchup favors Marshall, or they need to play off each other. Either way, they went 4-0 to start because they executed offensively. Get back to that and ours still in the BT hunt.
This is what you have to expect from Jackson and Marshall. They are young guys and they will play inconsistent until they get more experience. The part that frustrates me is Evans. He's totally erratic on the offensive end and when he doesn't shoot well this team struggles. This is where I would rather they give Dekker more minutes (if Evans is off).

It also seems like this is the way road Big Ten teams are going to play this season. I still don't think Iowa is very good, but they can be pretty good on their homecourt. Wisconsin found that out.

The Badgers are still playing better than I anticipated in conference play and given the makeup of the team I would expect more of the same. Maybe some upsets and some games where they lose where you'd think they would win.
