Happ and Hayes earned their paychecks

Koenig got the two shots to win the game though...
whew. Just finished the game on the TiVO. Well, it's always tough to win at the barn. So, a Win is a Win. What was the Gophers 3-point Shooting Pct. Holy Cow.
I think if we had lost, we would be talking about the last minute of regulation. We had a 67-64 lead and the ball....TWICE. Both times the offense was stagnant. The first one Hayes had to burp up a long 3 and on the other Jordan Hill forgot to put the ball to the floor before he took 2 steps with 22 seconds left. Just not a good sequence. They make a trey to tie it, and then BK loses the ball as he tries to put up a gamewinner. I'm not sure why Gard didn't use a timeout at some point in that last minute. We still had 3 left at the end of regulation. That last shot by Minnie was a breath-taker-away-er shot.
I read the graphic where Minnie leads the overall series 102 -98. So, hopefully in two more years we will tie that record.
That was as good as fun of a game as you will see. The back and forth in OT was entertaining and WI was clutch.
There is some stat published about the Badgers closing like 95% of games where they are leading with 5 minutes to go. That's crazy
These games vs. the Gophers are always tough ones. I liked how Big Ten Network announcer Shon Morris had to bring up the "Minnesota Connection" with the former Badgers who came from Minnesota(Breusewitz, Taylor, Berggren, etc.). I had to look up his bio to see if he was a Minnesotan at some point.
Has anyone made more clutch shots in their college career as Bronson Koenig has done as a Badger?
maybe Frank the Tank, but not those long outside threes with a man in his face. It seems BK won't shoot for a few minutes or possessions, then, when you need that key basket, out of nowhere, he drops it in.
