Lacy is a slight possibility, I guess. I'd say Jordy is probably the most deserving...he's demonstrated elite WR ability while Rodgers has been out, but his numbers have suffered due to inferior QB play, so that may be a problem. Shields...same as Nelson, may not have the stats to get the votes.

I think Rodgers should be voted league MVP...nobody is more important to their team than he is, clearly.

Sitton has quietly had a decent year thus far.

Both Nelson and Lacy are deserving, IMHO, but suffer from the 'lack of' stats.

Stats be damned, Masthay has kicked well. He's probably been our best (only?) offensive weapon during Rodgers' abscence.
How about Brett Goode? I'd guess he's as good as any at his position.

It's a lot harder to find anybody on defense. Clay tends to be a obvious (popular) vote, but it's hard to vote for someone who was not playing for essentially 1/3 of the season.
Daniels has played well, but he's not a starter.

Shields...hmmm. He's played very well at times, but has been a bit inconsistent. I don't know how his stats rank with his peers, and just not sure he's one of the best 2-3 at his position.

Josh Sitton is the only one I can think of. The problem is that there are great individuals around the league that outshine our players. Rodgers absence hurts the players on the offense, otherwise Jordy might make it.

In recent years there has been a dearth of blue chip players on the Packers - Aaron Rodgers obviously, but not too many more. Even Clay Matthews can be neutralized by the double team. That we're able to win with a bunch of average to slightly above average players is a tribute to the coaching staff.

I really think Thompson needs to find some more blue chippers, especially on defense, or else Rodgers' talent is going to go to waste. He should finish his career with more than one SB ring, but that's not going to happen with the personnel on this team.

Looks like Lacey is 7th in the NFC in both TDs and Yards. Considering the six ahead of him are all established "name" backs, I'd say there's no chance.

Still, can't overstate how much of a bright spot he's been for the team in what's likely a lost year. In addition to exceeding most expectations about his running ability, I just saw on PFF that he's the second best blocking back in the league. He's had pass pro responsibilities on 33% of his snaps this year, with no hits or sacks given up and only two hurries.
