Joel McStave!
Dagger?
One more first down....
That should do it.
predicted that
Good tough win, need to get the D and O line up to speed.
If only GA hadn't messed w/ Stave's head......
Great game.
I love old school football.
Hard fought win, but I will take it!!
Offense showed heart by making the plays that needed to be made when the D was down for probably the first time this season. Just the goofers in the way for another spot in the Big 10 Championship game!!
And Floyd The Heartland trophy stays in Madtown!!
Edit: I haz idot.
Great win. Tough place to play.
For a league that doesn't draft RBs in the 1st round anymore, someone may make an exception for Gordon.
Minny ?
I'd imagine he'd be a mid to late 1st pick...Minny's picking a lot earlier than that, I bet.
And Floyd stays in Madtown!!
I think that is the Heartland trophy.
Floyd of Rosedale is the Gopher/Hawkeye trophy, as well as one handsome pig.
Ugh. Brainfart, you are right!

My gut is telling me Minny to replace Peterson.
Would hate seeing him on the hags, any NFC North team not named Green Bay, Dallas, SF, Pats... to name a few.
Game ball to Stave.
Game ball to Stave.
Would not have bet on that happening a couple of months ago....or yesterday for that matter. Good job Joel.....keep it going.
He deserved it. He was very clutch at the end of the 4th, first with that run for the first down, then several nice passes to convert 1st downs.
To be honest, if it wasn't for McEvoy's run in the first half, we probably wouldn't have won at all. The D was due for a down day, I don't expect it to happen again against the goofers.
I never did see who won the flag football contest?
Curious what Melvin needs to do to raise his "competitiveness" grade? That has to keep him up at night.

Put a contract out on Marcus Mariota?
Anyone with a club to thwack him as he comes off the ice?
Anyone?
IMO the 200 yards plus the 60 some receiving... and making all the plays to secure the game for the Badgers should move him up in the voting.
Oh, and more records today. If he breaks Barry's all time record, how can they NOT give it to him?!!?!?
Why wouldn't a decent back pick UW over Iowa?
Thanks for the record - twice. Dayne ran all over their asses and now Gordon got his at Camp Kinnick
At least you have the knuckledraggers and mouth breathers to keep you company IC!! Enjoy the Muzak City Bowl
Jesus **** are you a little girl.

Unpossible ! Haven't you heard ? I guess Gordon is a liar with zero integrity ! The Heisman committee will give him zero votes as a result. Not only that, the refs gave Gordon at least half of his total yards and refused to call any penalties on Bucky at all. None. Zero. I thought it was odd Bucky never got flagged for anything but now I know. Bucky, Gordon especially, and the refs are all in Cahoots = Pals
Bottom line for me is it's always nice to see Bucky hang an L on the Browneyes. ALWAYS!!!!!
Crazy. Gordon's single game rushing record lasts a whole week.
http://www.cbssports.com/colle...ecord-with-427-yards
Melvin Gordon's new FBS single-game rushing record lasted all of seven days.
Only a week after Gordon broke LaDainian Tomlinson's 15-year-old mark with 408 rushing yards against Nebraska, Oklahoma freshman Samaje Perine rushed for 427 yards against Kansas, setting the new FBS record.
I guess I had lost track, but Sconnie has now gone into that toilet and won three times in a row. This game hasn't been played in Sconnie since 2009.
That was a good win. This was the Super Bowl for them and they threw the kitchen sink at UW. That equalizes things even when the opponent is an inferior program.
The fact that the offense - and Stave - were really what put UW over the top means that these guys are getting better. They probably would have lost this game in September.
Stave was the MVP and as much and I/we beat up on the guy I'm sure he feels some level of redemption. He made a number of clutch throws and his run at the end sealed it for UW.
Iowa is always a tough out but the Badgers showed they could close it out. Win next week and they will get a crack at Ohio State. I would love nothing more to see UW put Urb in his place.
Still, the game is in Madison and if the Badgers don't turn the ball over they should win. Minnesota kept it close with the Buckeyes because they got turnovers.
