Minny ?

I'd imagine he'd be a mid to late 1st pick...Minny's picking a lot earlier than that, I bet.

My gut is telling me Minny to replace Peterson.

Would hate seeing him on the hags, any NFC North team not named Green Bay, Dallas, SF, Pats... to name a few.

He deserved it.  He was very clutch at the end of the 4th, first with that run for the first down, then several nice passes to convert 1st downs.

To be honest, if it wasn't for McEvoy's run in the first half, we probably wouldn't have won at all.  The D was due for a down day, I don't expect it to happen again against the goofers.

Oh, and more records today.  If he breaks Barry's all time record, how can they NOT give it to him?!!?!?

Unpossible ! Haven't you heard ? I guess Gordon is a liar with zero integrity ! The Heisman committee will give him zero votes as a result. Not only that, the refs gave Gordon at least half of his total yards and refused to call any penalties on Bucky at all. None. Zero. I thought it was odd Bucky never got flagged for anything but now I know. Bucky, Gordon especially, and the refs are all in Cahoots = Pals

Bottom line for me is it's always nice to see Bucky hang an L on the Browneyes.  ALWAYS!!!!!

I guess I had lost track, but Sconnie has now gone into that toilet and won three times in a row.  This game hasn't been played in Sconnie since 2009.

That was a good win.  This was the Super Bowl for them and they threw the kitchen sink at UW.  That equalizes things even when the opponent is an inferior program.

The fact that the offense - and Stave - were really what put UW over the top means that these guys are getting better.  They probably would have lost this game in September.

Iowa did a great job with pass protection and blitz pickup.  They barely sniffed the QB all game and without pressure the corners (playing bump and run without safety help) were going to give up some pass plays against the bigger Iowa receivers.

Stave was the MVP and as much and I/we beat up on the guy I'm sure he feels some level of redemption.  He made a number of clutch throws and his run at the end sealed it for UW.

Iowa is always a tough out but the Badgers showed they could close it out.  Win next week and they will get a crack at Ohio State.  I would love nothing more to see UW put Urb in his place.
Next week's game is going to be really interesting.  Minnesota actually looks and plays a lot like Wisconsin.  They want to run the ball down your throat and control the ball and play tough D.  In the last couple of years they have dramatically upgraded the talent on the defensive side of the ball and are no longer pushovers.

Still, the game is in Madison and if the Badgers don't turn the ball over they should win.  Minnesota kept it close with the Buckeyes because they got turnovers.
