Big Frank gets the game ball.  Love his aggressive side.

Not Nigel's best day.  Same for Brust (1-7 from deep again.  At least he got 9 boards).

Sam and Josh played well.  Trae has put together two really good games in a row.  1-6 doesn't look hot, but 7-8 free throws, 6 assists and no turnovers look great.  Bucky wasn't giving the ball up for nothing today, with only two turnovers.

I've seen Glen Robinson projected as a lottery pick, but I just don't see it.  Good player, but probably a role player in the NBA.

Good win for Bucky, and Iowa isn't going to be a walk in the park.  Thankfully the Badgers became significantly more athletic than they were in January.

Nice SI article on the Badgers. Couple of excepts: But after an ugly one-point home loss to Ohio State on Feb. 1, the Badgers bookended a big win over then-No. 9 Michigan State with solid victories over Illinois and Minnesota. Wisconsin was Wisconsin again, it seemed. You may remember Kaminsky as the dude who dropped a program-record 43 points against North Dakota in November. With all due respect, Wisconsin probably would have won that game even if Kaminsky didn’t discover how to channel NBA Jam’s β€œon fire” mode. Kaminsky’s performance on Sunday came against a much better opponent http://college-basketball.si.c...oint-play/?eref=sihp
Forgot to mention I liked how Dekker played today as well.  He had the perfect balance of taking it to the hoop versus jump shots.  His aggressive play lately has really helped this team.

Nigel had a forgettable game but we need to all remember he's a freshman and he's still a very tough matchup for opposing teams.   The Badgers won going away and they got nothing from Hayes so that aspect is encouraging (the overall play of others)

Dekker is playing much better defense.

My two favorite plays of the game were the end of the shot clock, ball in Trae's hands, he drives and dishes to Frank for a dunk.  That is the play that every other team in the world seems to pull off against Bucky.

But the best play was Frank taking off from the three point line with a dribble drive to a dunk.  I must have watched that replay 15 times.

Agreed.  It's the Defense.  I think I've seen the best defensive effort of the year today.  Grabbing boards, helping out, forcing Michigan to take bad shots and also making them hit from outside in order to keep up.

We know we can score, but when things arent' going in, the D must take over and today they did as they didn't crumble in crunch time.

I can't believe we are still in the hunt for the title....although a long shot.

I wrote in a previous thread that I finally watched much of a Badger's game and the athleticism I saw was Kaminsky (for a big fella) being able to take it to the interior, Nigel's ability to create a shot and get to the foul line, and Traevon.  He can create his own shot, pull up, etc.

I don't think I have ever seen the Badgers have what Kaminsky can bring.  A guy that big being able to threaten the defense with his ability to take it to the rim.  That is huge.

This could be a special year for this Badger team.

I don't remember.  Kudos to Wilkinson then.

Of what I recall, I have never seen the Badgers have his offensive game.

So many times I have seen the Badgers have offensive woes where the half court set often resorted to a lot of passing followed by a low percentage outside shot.

My hope is that when this Badger's team faces such a stifling defense, Kaminsky is one reason the offense can be effective in breaking such a defense.

On another note, there is one thing that tempers Nigel's offensive game.  He misses a lot of free throws.
