Michigan up 19-13. Gard had to call timeout after Trice and Illikainen came into the game and Michigan went on a run.

Interesting. After a bad turnover, Trice is benched for Jordan Hill
Michigan 10-16 from the field. Need to tighten up the defense.
Happ really struggling early. 1 of 5 with 2 turnovers and struggling guarding the 3 point line on defense.
Defense is awful the last few minutes. Trice looks out of it.
Jordan Hill back in for Trice again. It appears Trice can't guard Walton.
Nice run to end half. only down 1 with Michigan 7-13 from 3.
Bucky in a very good spot considering how well Michigan has been shooting the ball.
Bucky looking like **** to start the half.
Showalter and Happ have been awful in the second half but still close
7 minutes in the second half almost as many turnovers as points
Need to buckle down!! Let's go
Absolutely nothing off the bench.
Just not their day.
Michigan has a better team.
**** Michigan

Certainly are today, and it's not even close.
Not really close and Koenig and Hayes played pretty well. Happ missed a lot of bunnies, but it's the utter inability to get any contribution off the bench that is their downfall.
Rare to see Bucky out-hustled. Melting down now under 2. Oh well, load up the truck and refocus for the Madness next week.
Exactly.
And also, **** Michigan.
It's probably fitting Trice missed a layup. Bench scoreless.
I'm really worried about next year.
Happ was a disaster around the rim. Missed way to many in close. He wasn't alone. Just an ugly game down low.
Big guy was spent after yesterday.
Against Michigan on 2 days.
That was a "losing 5 of 6" kind of second half
I get that but disagree. 2 days rest against one.
ah....... why did Michigan guard Bucky so close? and the Badgers gave them 4 -5 feet to shoot??? From the beginning Michigan was in the face of every Badger......Bucky gave them yards to shoot.....what was that all about?? Or really, was that just me?? Wow, the Badgers couldn't get a shot off and they were making everything. Ouch....bad game all around. Oh well.....now's the big dance.
Why are Minnesota a 5th seed and Wisconsin an 8?
Makes absolutely no sense why they're seeded higher than either Michigan or Bucky.

I guess they weighed how a team did the last month of the season.
Sure, they, that is the committee and the talking heads talk about the last month but they also talk about the total body of work. So which is it? Better finish than Goophers in the B1G regular season and the B1G tourney and yet get seeded way lower. Badgers played a tougher Non Con schedule too. I guess when your last name is Pittino you get extra points.
Not sure it was worth a 3 seed difference but MN played a lot better than UW down the stretch.
The seeding in general is just goofy. How the Badgers are seeded the same as NW is mind boggling. Wisconsin should have been a 5 or 6 which tells me the committee had the Badgers placed even before the BT tournament.
If I'm not mistaken didn't Bucky kick the crap out of the Goophers down the stretch? I'm picking Middle Tennessee in a classic 5-12 match up.

Badgers and Michigan flipped based on the tourney. Otherwise, Badgers playing in Indy.

Right up until the Badgers curb stomped then in Madison, then almost ran the table in the B1G tourney.
Heres the part that pisses me off the most- they'll contradict their reasoning in a heartbeat if it's KY, or Duke, or Kansas, or UCLA. Struggling down the stretch is simply an excuse today.
I totally understand folks being upset with the seeding, and I also can't understand the MN vs WI argument. But as a Badger fan, I really don't have a problem with the way the NCAA lines up. Just making it to the sweet sixteen doesn't do much for me. So, provided everything goes as anticipated on Day 1, I'm fine with the Badgers getting a shot at Villanova in the round of 32. Beat them, take their spot, and now you've got a real chance to get back to the Final Four. The people who should be upset are Villanova fans.
I was at work during this game, but was able to see bits and pieces, especially in the last 5m or so.
I thought the biggest factor in that stretch is that Michigan shot unconscious. There were a couple 3 pointers with Wisconsin defenders in their face. And look at that alley oop score.
All those makes seemed to be when Bucky was about to close the deficit to a small margin that makes the game really close and might give Michigan some late game jitters.
I couldn't believe some of the shots Michigan made.
