The Oregon coach should have been wearing a jersey. He was on the floor more than some of his starters were. Yes, Gard was on the court, on occasion, too, but not like the Oregon coach was.

He probably couldn't see the lines on the court like everybody else. I know Knight is a big supporter and likes those unique bright colors and patterns but that court is a joke. It's about like watching a Boise State football game.

The Badgers were surprised by the zone and didn't call that play in the huddle. That was just a veteran group making an adjustment on the fly.                                                                                                                                                                            "We had something called against the man," Gard said. "Then obviously Tyler made a good read. Chucky got in his sight line across the court and (Wahl) put it right on target. That is as good a look as you’re going to get. And Chucky knocked it down."

So, two weeks after Wisconsin lost in the first round of the Big 10 tournament to relegate them to the NIT, would you rather have

1. Squeaked into the NCAA Tournament and lost in the first round of the NCAA (or the play-in games)

or

2. Be where they are now, making the final 4 of the NIT for the right to be the 69th-best team in the country?

I'm guessing #2 is much better for their long-term development as a team, but I wonder if people will still feel that the season was a failure even if they win the NIT.
