Wizards go on an 11-0 run to open the 4th during which time the Bucks can't get a single call. Offensive fouls on DDV and Giannis. No calls on Giannis getting hacked. Garrison Matthews getting gifted 3 FTs by kicking out his leg.

Bucks hang on. They deserved that one. If it's a cleanly officiated game they win by double digits. Wizards with 43 FT attempts. Probably about 14 of them are on BS calls when they kick their legs out on jump shots and get rewarded by the officials.

But we do need to acknowledge the contributions from the Bucks backcourt last night- Holiday 29 points, DD 19, Connaughton 16, Forbes 14, even Teague had 11. 85 points from your Gs last night, including 16 threes. Folks can marvel at the scoring from Westbrook and Beal, but they don’t defend anyone. Forbes and Connaughton were both clutch down the stretch with DD and Giannis fouled out. Bucks get that from their Gs every night they’re going to be real tough to beat.

The way the Bucks can score and defend is going to make them a tough out.  The additions of Holiday and Tucker have made a huge difference.  I like what Teague has been doing as well.

Lopez and DDV and Forbes have their warts, but if they at least contribute they will be in good shape.  We just can’t have nights where Forbes goes 2-14 or Lopez gets abused defensively.

If Middleton plays against the Wizards, he gets 30 without even breaking a sweat. He plays so well against the Wizards in general because their perimeter defense is atrocious. As good as Beal is on offense, I'm not sure he's ever going to be a top 1 or 2 player on a team that can make a deep playoff run. He can score 40 many nights, but he's a rich man's version of Jabari Parker. Beal's defensive skills make Bryn Forbes look like Paul Pressey.
