Bucks down 30-26 after one. Wolves are good. Looks like another very likely loss.

Going to be a difficult game for the Bucks to be sure. Let's hope the Wolves come up with one of their classic 4th qtr meltdowns.
The Wolves broadcast keeps showing Robin Lopez sitting in the crowd reading a book.
Bucks down 10 at the half. Not surprising considering the Bucks injury issues
Bucks keep hanging around.
Beasley sucks tonight.
Wolves just targeting Lopez in drop and getting wide open 3s every trip down.
Shows how Lopez is probably going to be unplayable in certain playoff matchups.
Getting embarrassing now. Down 20.
Beasley is 1 for 12 from the floor and most of his shots have been wide open 3s off Giannis passes.
91-64 and that score doesn't reflect the degree of dominance the Wolves have had tonight.
Wide open shots constantly for the Wolves.
This is over. Thanasis time.
Down 102-75 after 4.
Just missing Dame and Middleton doesn't explain the atrocious defense.
The Bucks body language is very bad. Beauchamp is sitting away from the rest of the bench with his hood on. Giannis sitting by himself.
Bucks announcers trying to get us excited about AJ Green going off in the 4th quarter.
Wow, he's keeping the Bucks within 30 hitting meaningless shots.
Even without Lillard and Middleton that was an embarrassing performance.
Looks like a team that has completely lost any confidence it had.
only single positive is that Crowder seems to be playing better lately.

And AJ Green can hit shots in a situation with the same type of game pressure as an open gym at your local rec league.
Whatever happens the rest of this season and in the playoffs the Bucks are going to need to take a closer look at Lopez and Portis and Pat C. Pat C has clearly regressed and Portis is up and down a lot and gives them nothing defensively. As for Lopez, the fit just doesn’t seem to be as effective as in years past.
To me, it’s clear this isn’t a good team if Giannis and Dame aren’t playing.

As we've discussed before, Lopez just doesn't fit well with Dame.
Giannis is one of the top 10 help defenders in NBA history and one of the best on-ball 7 foot defenders I've ever seen. He's good in any system. If you can combine that with the additional rim protection you get with Lopez on the floor and combine that with 2019-2021 versions of Eric Bledsoe, Jrue Holiday, PJ Tucker, Connaughton, DDV, George Hill, and Middleton that played with it the defense is stifling. Even in drop defense, all of those guys (when they were that age) could fight through screens and still provide some level of contest on perimeter shots after screens. Jevon Carter was a great fit for drop as well. Portis never could do that which is why he would play literally zero minutes in some games of the toughest playoff series they had when the won the title (Nets).
Dame, Beasley, Payne, and older Connaughton just can't do that. Now, they just bring Lopez into a pick and roll and the ballhandler comes off and Lopez is 10 feet away and they just feast.
