Brad Jones, with an inability to tackle and a knack for making critical penalties at the wrong time, has shot to the top of the least like Packer player in the last 25+ years.
Question---who comes close to being as bad. My choice would be Van Jakes, 1989, who was so bad at coverage you might as well have played with only 10. Close second would be Ahmad Carroll.

Hard to remember any LB as bad as Jones, but a couple that come to mind are Old-as-dirt Hardy Nickerson and Hannibal Navies.
Jones definitely is part of that group, just to name a few.

A number of players from the legendary Mike Sherman draft of 2004 would have to be on the list also: Ahmad Carroll (Round 1); Joey Thomas (Round 2); BJ Sander (Round 3)
It's hard to know how much of Brad Jones' poor play is due to the fact he's broken down physically. He played the first game of the season and was terrible after which the coaches basically admitted he wasn't healthy enough to play effectively.

Jones is a sucky player, but let's put it to context. He's a 7th round draft pick from a draft who gave us 2 Pro Bowl players, and a damn good starter. Comparing him to past 1st round busts is a little silly.
That hands to the face call yesterday, while a penalty, was kind of BS considering the non-calls all day by that crew. That was a sh!t crew and GB benefited, but still.

Lattimore got smoked on the blocked punt also. He's really not an upgrade. I'm really hoping TT will finally address this mess soon.
I disagree. Lattimore isn't the next Ray Lewis, but Jones is that bad that you can just plug in any Undrafted Free Agent (Lattimore) and it is an upgrade.
I was going to say that a dead corpse on the field would be worse than Brad Jones, but then again a dead corpse won't get an illegal hands to the face call and won't get a holding call either. It's a tossup in my mind.

In terms of ability and results on the field, Jones is worse than Carroll (Jones tries his hardest, Carroll had the ability, he just had a rotten attitude). He only sucked so hard because he was a first round pick, and McKenzie decided to hold out while he was stinking it up on the field.

Brad has certainly had a rough start to the season. His play has been pretty abysmal. But there are plenty of former Packers who have played worse and/or for longer stretches than ol' Bradley.
Jonesy may have been a 7th round draft pick, but after a couple of seasons he was paid well to be a starter. And he hasn't met the expectations. His draft position should no longer be an argument for/against his play.
He'll probably never be solid, but if he can just not suck as often, he can fill a roll on this (scout) team.
Terrrell Buckley comes to mind as being unliked. Toss in Jerel Worthy, Tony Mandarich,and Rubely
For the most part, many of the guys mentioned above had short Packer careers. Not the case with guys like Brad Jones and AJ Hawk. Not only are they subpar ILB's but we keep trotting em out there.... for years. Paid pretty well for sucking too(at least Hawk took a pay cut).
