Last night Fox Sports 1 had their panel discuss Ichiro reaching 4,000 hits and where he ranked in comparison to Cobb and Rose. Could be a decent discussion, right?
The "panel" was Donavan Mcnabb, Gary Payton, and Andy Roddick. And the comedy factor was off the charts. There is so much going on here. Mcnabb keeps repeating "700 doubles" (although he threw in 750 doubles to drive his point home). Gary Payton shaking his head like he's about to uncork some serious Bill James stats on everyone, and then there's Andy Roddick reading stats he pulled off Wikipedia and hour earlier and not remotely trying to hide the fact he's reading from it repeatedly.
