For the record, I'd promote jimmy right now in estrada's spot.
Thoughts?

I don't think they need Price but I do think they could use another bat perhaps a 1B
Henderson is showing signs of returning after the all star break. We will need a fire balling reliever if he doesn't get back to top form. If Marco can keep us in games (he won his last 2) I can tolerate a couple bombs a game.
Jesus, at first glance I thought you said "If it got you Prince..."
Price's velocity has significantly dropped from a few years ago, but he really has an array of pitches.
How good is Nelson right now while the Crews window is open ?
The Brewers starting pitching right now is good enough to win it all. I don't like Estrada as the 5th guy but their top 4 pitchers are pretty damn good.
The issue we've seen with this team is when they face good pitching sometimes their bats go silent. I'd love to add another guy that can hit .280 and get on base to set the table for the HR hitters.
Pitching (good pitching) is hard to come by. Don't think I would trade Nelson. Can we package about 5 other not pitchers? What can we get for Weeks?
TH discusses this without saying much of anything today: http://www.jsonline.com/sports...283z1-265075061.html
Obviously, the Crew's staff appears to be the last area they would need to strengthen but I do wonder what the bounty would be for Price. It has been noted since they added the extra wild card more teams think 'they are in it' hence, not as many teams willing to throw in the towel.
Like it has been mentioned, I think they pick up a pen arm for cheap but I really want another lefty bat who can play 1B. Zobrist would be my dream from Tampa but he ain't coming cheap either. He could fill the lefty platoon at 1B ('O' can become strictlya PH/defensive replacement) and also has the ability to play every other position.
Henderson starting another 30 day rehab in minors. RR commented about lack of velocity. We could use a fresh arm in the pen and I don't see Henderson as that guy unless something changes.
I don't think I would do Nelson for Lester straight up, much less throw in more prospects.
I would take Mike Carp off their hands to take Overbay's AB
No.
I would look for pen help. And I'm with EKB, I'd be looking for a bat
Big fan of this as well. Carpsy can also play to outfield.
They need some offensive players who get on base. The offense is so inconsistent no matter how good of pitching they get they lose too many close games.
