Proud big brother tweet. @BenBrust's making his in-studio debut tonight on @BigTenNetwork Pre-Game, Halftime and Postgame for the 6:00 and 8:00 games. Then he's doing the B1G Show at 10.

Badgers up 1 at the half way mark of the 1st half. 17-16.
One man show Happ
Need to shoot better.
The QB looks good
How about Davidson's defense.
Kid belongs on the floor
Ethan Happ with a game-high 8 points, 3 rebounds & 3 assists for the #Badgers. Brevin Pritzl has 7pts (3-5 FG).

Up 41-38 with about 4 minutes gone in the 2nd half. Can they do this?
nails are gone.......awesome if they could pull this out...
and no......dang, so close. I think they look great with all the babies.
Good battle, had the lead down the stretch but Xaiver made a couple huge shots at the end. Lots to build on.
AVV is allergic to defense
Young team... this will be a pretty dangerous team come March...
just got wi-fi at the "motel". I was at the game last night. Great seats. 20 rows up behind the Xavier bench at mid-mid court. The crowd was loud and energized the young Badgers. Agree with thought we must shoot better. Xavier is a very good team. 3 Seniors led the way for them and they looked more experienced.
Trice had an off night. AVV needs to play defense or we won't see much of him during the year. Brad Davison is the real thing and yes, needs to be on the floor more. Whenever he came off the bench, the team started moving the ball around more on offense and played better defense.
I'm not sure how it looked on TV but man it seemed on the scoreboard replays that the refs missed a lot of calls...it seemed the Badgers were getting fouled and no calls...then on the other end Happ got 2 calls on him where it looked like terrific defense.
At the end of the game, Xavier's Macura made it a point to go down his bench and mimic the student section...the student section then started shouting "small dick - small dick" chant. It was hilarious. Throughout the game the student section would shout "Sweet Sixteen-Sweet Sixteen" (obviously poking fun that we beat them on Koenig's last second shot). I also saw some T-shirts with a crying Bill Murray picture on it. The players got a bit testing near the end of the game. BTW....The student section was on top of its game. It was a blast.
Next up. Tomorrow's football game. It is suppose to be in the low 40's now...but rainy....ugh.

yep. Once Gard figures out the right rotations at the right situations, this team will be a tough foe in March. Good news is everyone will be back next year, too. The only thing they lack is an attitude on defense.

Oh, youβre not wrong. Xavier was getting whistles almost every time they had the ball. And they were banging away on the other end and allowed to. Thatβs why Happ almost got Tβd up- I was screaming too.
I think we will be talking a whole lot more about Kobe King come March
Yes! Agree. He looked smooth and seemed comfortable when he played, too. What I've heard is that he needs to be more consistent on defense. But a lot of upside with King. As was said earlier. This team will give other team headaches come March.
I agree on King. It will depend upon how soon he adapts. I know HS kids play a lot of elite competition (AAU, summer, etc...) nowdays, but I watched him last year in HS, he was head, shoulders, knees and ankles above the HS kids he was playing with. Man among boys. Now he's just a man among men, so how soon he figures it out will be key.
That being said, he appeared/appears to be an incredibly gifted player.
