Yanks haven't played in Beertown since 05.

Tanaka goes tonight.  He hasn't lost a game since August 2012.  He's won his last 28 games in Japan and is 4-0 with the Yanks.  6 bb's against 51 k's so far this year.

Against a whiffing team like the Crew, he could have a field day tonight.

The Tuna is heading for Beertown for Saturday's game.  Go Crew.

Curious

“I’m a second baseman,” he told reporters. “I feel like right now, I should be playing second base.”

Asked whether his stance was final, or whether the promise of more playing time as a left fielder might change his mind, Weeks said, “Like I said, right now, I’m a second baseman.”

Right now you are a bench player, I'd be doing everything I could to get on the field.  In all honesty, not sure I'd want to see him out there.  He played there in college, that doesn't mean he'd step right up.

Buh bye Ricky

You don't make comments like that unless you are trying to get released or traded

He's not Ted Williams behind the plate or Ozzie Smith in the field so he needs to STFU and do what the team asks of him.

Big hit for the win last night, but I'm very disappointed with his attitude. Especially given his contract. He just hasn't been the same after 2011.

A trade across the Miller Park to the Yankees would be most welcome at this point.

Hopefully Gomez is OK.  He might be starting that suspension pretty soon, make the booboo feel better.

At some point LF and SS have to start hitting, right?

Couldn't have picked a better team to showcase for than the Yanks.  Here's hoping they see something.

But if they're going to be a playoff team, Rickie hitting makes them a dangerous offensive team. I know it's fools gold, but man... When he's right he's an All Star. I'm not saying sign him to another deal, but if he truly has righted the ship he's and awfully good bat come playoff time...

When is the last time we saw Rickie play at an All Star level for an extended period of time?
